Schoolgirl, 9, passes through Turkish customs with toy passport identifying her as a UNICORN

Emily Harris used documents for her favourite stuffed toy - Lily the unicorn
Customs officials at Antalya airport even stamped her bogus http://coolfwdmail.blogspot.com/search/label/Passport

By MARTIN ROBINSON

Waved through: Emily Harris had taken a toy passport she had made for her unicorn, Lily, on holiday with her and used it to enter Turkey

A nine-year-old schoolgirl has managed to enter Turkey using a passport that identified her as a pink unicorn.
Officials at Antalya airport even stamped Emily Harris's travel documents before waving her through customs despite the official photograph showing the face of her favourite stuffed toy.
Her mother and father today admitted they were left stunned after they handed their daughter the wrong passport when they landed to start a week's holiday in the country.

Welcome to our country: Emily's documents were even stamped by customs officials in Antalya as she started her holiday

The document young Emily handed over was a Bear Factory passport for a Unicorn toy called Lily Harris.
Her mother Nicky, 43, from Cwmbran, South Wales, said: 'I didn’t realise until I was putting the passports away. There was a moment of panic when I thought someone would come chasing after us, but nothing

Unofficial documents: This is the passport used by Emily to get into Turkey (left) which does look a little like the real thing apart from one major difference, it contained a picture of Lily the unicorn

'The passport doesn’t even look real - it’s got gold teddy bears on the front and was a completely different size from mine and my husband, Allen’s.
'The man even asked Emily how old she was, and she told him nine, before he stamped it.'

Still smiling: Emily with her beloved toy, but her parents had feared at the time that customs might chase them when they realised their mistake

Incident: Schoolgirl Emily arrived with her parents at Antalya Airport in Turkey (pictured) to start her summer holiday

Officials of all countries are meant to scan passports and cross-check passenger details before allowing entry to their country.
But in this case, it obviously did not happen.
'The picture ID wasn’t even of Emily, it was of a pink unicorn,' Mrs Harris said.
'And to make it worse, the unicorn wasn’t even on holiday with us.
'We saw the funny side, and laughed at the fact that the officer had even stamped the passport.
'But at the same time, it’s a worry to any parent, how easy it would be to smuggle a child through customs and into another country.'

Blackhawks and Bruins go to 2nd OT, tied 3-3

CHICAGO (AP) — Corey Crawford stopped several flurries to preserve a 3-3 tie and send a riveting Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals to double overtime on Wednesday.
The Blackhawks got third-period goals from Dave Bolland and Johnny Oduya to erase a 3-1 deficit and then Crawford was simply spectacular in the extra period.
He made a sprawled-out pad save on Shawn Thornton about four minutes into OT, and he stood his ground in a flurry with just under eight minutes remaining, stopping Rich Peverley and Tyler Seguin on the rebound to draw oohs and ahhs from the crowd.

AP photo/Charles Rex Arbogast

In the first championship meeting in 34 years between Original Six franchises, Milan Lucic scored twice and Patrice Bergeron added a power-play goal just over six minutes into the third to give Boston a 3-1 lead. But the Blackhawks came storming back after that.
Andrew Shaw picked off a clearing attempt by Torey Krug and fed Bolland on a two-on-one rush to pull Chicago within one with 12 minutes left in regulation. Lucic then got stopped on a two-on-one by Crawford midway through the third, and Oduya tied it for Chicago when his shot from the point deflected off Andrew Ference and bounced past Tuukka Rask.

AP photo/Charles Rex Arbogast

Just like that, the Blackhawks were back in it. Crawford fought off a big flurry by Boston in the closing minutes, and the game went to overtime with Chicago outshooting Boston 39-25 after getting off to a slow start.
The Bruins grabbed a 1-0 lead at the 13:11 mark of the opening period after David Krejci knocked Niklas Hjalmarsson off the puck along the boards behind the net. He fed a pass to Nathan Horton, who feathered the puck across to Lucic for an easy wrist shot from the slot in front of Crawford.

AP photo/Charles Rex Arbogast

Lucic struck again just 51 seconds into the second period with another wrist shot after Hjalmarsson gambled along the boards and fell, allowing Boston to break in.
Chicago started to come on strong after that.
The Blackhawks got on the board just over two minutes later when rookie Brandon Saad scored his first goal of the playoffs. He carried the puck down the ice but was bumped off it in the left corner of the Boston zone. Marian Hossa recovered it and fed Saad in the slot, making it 2-1 and bringing the sellout crowd to their feet.

AP photo/Charles Rex Arbogast

The Blackhawks' momentum came screeching to a halt on a power play — make that a two-man advantage — midway through the second. A big issue during the regular season, it continues to haunt the Blackhawks in the playoffs.
They came in 7 for 51 on the power play — 12th among the 16 playoff teams — and that number took another hit when they couldn't convert a five-on three advantage, Horton got called for interference at 7:37 and the Bruins were whistled for having too many men on the ice at 8:20, but Chicago came away empty.

Before Saad's tally, Rask had not given up a goal in 149:36 — he gave up only two goals in a four-game sweep of Pittsburgh — and he saved 44 shots through the first OT for the Bruins, who are seeking their second title in three years.
Crawford made 34 stops through the first OT for the Blackhawks, back in the finals for the first time since their championship run three years ago, didn't get much going in this one.
Not since the Montreal Canadiens knocked off the New York Rangers in five games in 1979 had Original Six teams played for the championship. But both these teams have been here, done that, with Chicago winning it all in 2010 and Boston taking the championship the following season.

New Jersey state police have announced that NASCAR driver Jason Leffler has died as a result of injuries suffered in a wreck at Bridgeport Speedway in New Jersey, according to the Associated Press. Leffler was 37.
Leffler was racing a Sprint Car at the track's "Night of Wings" when his car apparently flipped on the front stretch of the 5/8-mile, high-banked dirt oval. According to eyewitness accounts, he was extracted from the car on a board and airlifted out of the track via helicopter. The remainder of the night's racing was cancelled.

According to state police, Leffler was pronounced dead at 9:02 p.m. ET.
Leffler, from Long Beach, Calif., spent most of his decade-plus NASCAR career in the Nationwide series, running full schedules from 2006 to 2011. He had two wins, 42 top fives and 107 top 10s in the Nationwide series. He's also run 73 races in Sprint Cup, most recently at Pocono last week, and 56 races in the Camping World Truck Series, where he posted one victory.

"NASCAR extends its thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathies to the family of Jason Leffler who passed away earlier this evening," NASCAR said in a statement. "For more than a decade, Jason was a fierce competitor in our sport and he will be missed."

He'd only this year returned to Sprint Car racing, where he planned on competing in 50-65 races. According to his web site, "Jason is excited to get back to the grass roots of racing to connect with fans and old rivalries."
Leffler was extremely close to his son Charlie Dean, who had only recently finished kindergarten. Leffler's Instagram page is full of shots of Charlie Dean, including this poignant one:

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Mind the gap: Miley Cyrus showed off a new eye-catching accessory as she sported a gold tooth at the MySpace launch event

Miley Cyrus completes her good girl turned bad transformation with new gold tooth.
She’s already got the punked-up hair and new wardrobe and now Miley Cyrus has completed her transformation from Hannah Montana to full on gangsta with a shiny new gold tooth.
The 20-year-old turned up to the This Is Myspace event in Los Angeles in her signature punk look on Wednesday night.

Gold touch: The star gave her smile some extra shine

The fashion rebel paired a pair of big two-tone coloured jeans with a teeny pleather crop top which displayed the singer’s toned abs.
The baggy denims seem to be a favourite of Miley’s, with the star spotted in the same pair earlier on the day, this time teaming the jeans with a cropped ‘Channing’ tee.
Miley slung a matching leather jacket over her skimpy top last night, finishing her 80’s look with pointed white heels and a stack of necklaces draped around her neck.

New looks: Miley showcased her individual style as she chips away at her former cookie cutter persona

Her super short peroxide crop was set off by a slick of red lipstick whilst the singer carried a coveted Chanel rucksack.
But as she smiled for the cameras on the black carpet it was her shiny gold tooth that really caught the eye.
Miley seemed extra proud of her new shiny accessory as she smiled for the photographers before making her way into the event.

Miley Cyrus and Leah LaBelle joined fellow singers Pharell and Robin Thicke onstage Wednesday night at the El Rey Theater for the re-launch of Myspace. Miley and Leah danced and sang to the hit "Blurred Lines" song.

The bold new accessory is just the latest fashion touch which has transformed Miley from girl next door to bona fide punk princess.
It's a trend beloved by rappers that rarely flatters anyone - and let's hope it's just a temporary one in Miley's case.
The young star continued her quest to get back to the top of music charts by joining man of the moment Pharrell Williams and his Blurred Lines co-collaborator Robin Thicke on stage at the Myspace launch party.

That's not polite: Miley stuck to fingers up to rumours she has split from Liam Hemsworth and remains adamant they she is still engaged

Justin Timberlake, a major shareholder in the social network, took to Twitter last night to commend chart toppers Pharrell and Robin for their exclusive performance, sharing photos of Miley and co on stage with his followers.
The new MySpace was unveiled at the star-studded event, with a focus on mixing social networking with music streams.
It's new look site aims to help musicians, writers and other artists connect with a wider audience online.

'We have a moral obligation to ban the airbrush': Debenhams vows not to retouch model shots... and calls on others to follow suit

High-street giant slaps ban on Photoshopped lingerie model shots
No more arm and leg thinning, teeth whitening or bust boosting
Now only airbrush minor things like pigmentation or stray hair
Retailer calls on rivals to follow suit and 'encourage positive body image'
Studies show young girls' self esteem is crushed by altered adverts

By DENI KIRKOVA

Millions of pounds a year are spent by organisations retouching perfectly good images

The airbrush backlash is now well underway as Debenhams announces a ban on all retouched lingerie model shots.
The high-street department store puts and end to such images as they 'want to help customers feel confident about their figures without bombarding them with unattainable body images'.

A lingerie shot before and after retouching: Debenhams will no longer whiten teeth, slim limbs or boost breasts

The use of some digital photography techniques to create unrealistic body shapes and flawless skin can make men and women feel more insecure about their natural looks and size.
Recent research shows that half of schoolgirls as young as 12 are unhappy with their weight and some are skipping meals in an effort to slim, 'due to exposure to airbrushed images'.

In 2011 Britney Spears let airbrushed images from a Candie's shoot to be released along with the originals

A further 58 per cent of girls aged 14 or 15 said they wanted to lose weight, according to the study by the Schools Health Education Unit.
Debenhams now calls on its rivals to ban airbrushed images too.
'We want other retailers to follow suit and encourage positive body-image through minimal retouching rather than bombarding them with unattainable body images,' said a spokesperson.

'As well as being a positive from a moral point of view, it ticks the economic boxes as well.
'Millions of pounds a year are spent by organisations retouching perfectly good images,' says Sharon Webb, Head of Lingerie buying and design for Debenhams.
'As a rule we only airbrush minor things like pigmentation or stray hair and rely on the natural beauty of models to make our product look great.'

She's still a beauty queen! Shanna Moakler strips naked as she joins her fellow Miss USAs in provocative PETA poster

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Ladies on a mission: Former USA winners Alyssa Alyssa Campanella (2011), Shanna Moakler (1995), Shandi Finnessey (2004) and Susie Castillo (2003) pose naked in a new PETA anti-fur campaign

It's been 18 years since she found fame as Miss USA.
But reality star Shanna Moakler showed she can hold her own against her fellow beauty queens as she stripped off for a new Peta poster.
Joining three much younger Miss USA's, the 38-year-old reality star bared all for the tasteful black and white shoot.

Getting into position: The women were seen holding tiaras and sashes while shooting the ad

The four were making a stand against fur - which is routinely still offered as a prize at some pageants.
Joining Shanna were her fellow Miss USAs - Alyssa Campanella, 23, from 2011; Shandi Finnessey, 35, from 2004; and Susie Castillo, 33, from 2003.
In the new ad, shot by photographer Fadil Berisha, the four women are seen standing close together wearing only heels, cupping their breasts and placing their hands on each other's waists and hips.

Having a laugh: The beauty queens looked to be having a ball as they smiled together for the camera

The tagline, 'Feel beautiful in your own skin, and let animals keep theirs' is scrawled across the image.
According to PETA, every year 'millions' of animals - including foxes, minks, raccoons, and even cats and dogs - are electrocuted, drowned, beaten and often skinned alive for their fur.
Despite the cruel treatment, some pageants still offer fur coats as prizes.

She's still got it: Shanna, pictured in LA in April, went on to star in the reality show Meet The Barkers with her then-husband Travis Barker

'I was so disgusted that I would wear this skin of this living being on my body and consider myself beautiful,' Finnessey said. 'What would happen if that happened to a human being? We would be outraged. So what's the difference?'
'When it comes to the anti-fur campaign, it's really close to my heart,' said Moakler. 'I've been awarded fur coats and I'm hoping to stop it in our pageant community.'
'I was appalled, I couldn't believe that that was still going on, knowing what we know today,' added Castillo.

Extreme cruelty: According to PETA, 'millions' of animals are skinned alive, drowning and electrocuted for their fur

PETA is often pushing the boundaries with its animal rights campaigns.
In one campaign, Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino is shows surrounded by cats with the tagline 'Too much p***y can be a bad thing.'
Another showed chickens in cages opposited concentration camp victims with the words, 'To animals, all people are Nazis.'

Pushing the envelope: PETA's ads are often controversial, like this one showing Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino surrounded by cats with the tagline, 'Too much p---y can be a bad thing'

By SARAH BULL

Dazzling: Nicole Scherzinger looked so incredible in her purple dress for the latest round of X Factor auditions that she left Caroline Flack confused about her sexuality

She's been romantically linked to stars including Harry Styles and James Arthur.
But Caroline Flack admitted she was confused about her sexuality after seeing Nicole Scherzinger's outfit choice for the latest round of X Factor auditions in Manchester on Friday.
The former Pussycat Dolls star looked incredible in a bodycon purple Herve Leger dress which clung to her enviably toned figure as she posed up outside the Old Trafford Centre.

Figure-hugging: The dress highlighted Nicole's enviably toned shape in all the right places

Nicole teamed her sexy dress with a pair of sky-high black heels and sunglasses, with her raven hair swept back into a high ponytail for the occasion.
And after catching sight of Nicole's outfit choice, The Xtra Factor host Caroline tweeted: 'Nicole looks so beautiful today it's confusing my sexuality....'
Nicole's outfit was significantly more glamorous than the shirt and leather trousers she opted for for the first day of auditions in Manchester on Thursday.

Careful! The low-cut style of the dress meant Nicole had to keep checking to ensure she didn't have an embarrassing malfunction

Purple princess: Nicole's dress clung to her feminine shape, but was also very revealing

That looks like a fun job! A member of the X Factor team held an umbrella over Nicole to ensure she didn't get wet in the rain

While fans are sure to want to get their hands on Nicole's dress, they will have to wait a little longer as the £4,700 Herve Leger dress is from the Autumn Winter 2013 catwalk show and won't be available to buy until September.
However, the 34-year-old struggled in the rainy weather, and enlisted a member of her entourage to hold an umbrella for her to ensure she didn't get wet and ruin her look.
Despite the gloomy outlook, Nicole still wore sunglasses to add to her glamorous look.

"Man of Steel" critics' reviews: Film wallows in sorrow more than soars

$

By LESLEY SAVAGE / CBS NEWS

Henry Cavill as Superman and Amy Adams as Lois Lane in "Man of Steel." / WARNER BROS.

The reviews are in, and while most movie critics agree that the newest retelling of the classic Superman story is worth seeing, "Man of Steel" is weighed down by pathos and too much kryptonite.

The 8 greatest comic book movies of all time
"Man of Steel" sequel soars into production
Featuring Henry Cavill in the red-and-blue tights, and Amy Adams as his love interest, this Zack Snyder-directed story by the "Dark Knight" trilogy's Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer (with Goyer penning the screenplay), gets bogged down by its own gravity, and lacks the fun and light-heartedness of previous movie and TV versions, according to the critics.

Check out what they had to say below.

Peter Travers, Rolling Stone: "Caught in the slipstream between action and angst, 'Man of Steel' is a bumpy ride for sure. But there's no way to stay blind to its wonders."

Richard Roeper, Chicago Sun-Times: "There's very little humor or joy in this Superman story, and not enough character development for us really to care once the big-budget pyrotechnics are under way."

Ann Hornaday, Washington Post: "For now, audiences can only speculate as to the hidden depths of Cavill, who in Zack Snyder's busy, bombastic creation myth is reduced to little more than a joyless cipher or dazzling physical specimen."

Lisa Kennedy, Denver Post: "The chief problem here is one of rhythm and balance in the storytelling and directing. The movie swings between destructive overstatement and flat-footed homilies."

David Edelstein, New York magazine: ["Man of Steel" offers] "lots of noise and clutter -- but never the simple charm of the original comic by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster or the faintly self-abashed handsomeness of Christopher Reeve. The movie isn't dead on arrival, like Snyder's over-reverent 'Watchmen.' But it's pleasure-free."

Dana Stevens, Slate: "Snyder provides an elegantly illuminated retelling of the origin story of that most saintly of superheroes, Superman."

Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian: "This is a great, big, meaty, chewy superhero adventure, which broadly does what it sets out to do, though at excessive length. What I missed were the gentle, innocent pleasures of Superman's day-to-day crimefighting existence.... Due to the cataclysmic battle in this film, much of the Man of Steel's mystery and novelty have been used up. Subsequent adventures may lose altitude."

Justin Craig, FoxNews.com: "Zack Snyder, Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer have managed to become Superman's very own Kryptonite, stripping the iconic character of his greatest assets: wit, charm, and most importantly, hope; rendering "Man of Steel" this blockbuster season's biggest disappointment."

Chris Nashawaty, Entertainment Weekly: "'Dark Knight'-style makeover never quite comes together. Sure, Superman is still faster than a speeding bullet and more powerful than a locomotive. ... But he's been transformed into the latest in a long line of soul-searching super-brooders, trapped between his devastated birth planet of Krypton and his adopted new home on Earth. He's just another haunted outsider grappling with issues."

Ty Burr: The Boston Globe: "Snyder knows how to put on a show, and 'Man of Steel' has a massive scope that's hard to resist. ... But what's missing from this Superman saga is a sense of lightness, of pop joy."

Kenneth Turan, Los Angeles Times: "Given the 'Dark Knight' trilogy's Nolan and Goyer's involvement, it's no surprise that 'Man of Steel' is conceptualized in the Batman mold, a dark end of the street extravaganza where, theoretically at least, epic vision would be joined with dramatic heft. It hasn't worked out quite that way.

Stephanie Zacharek, the Village Voice: "'Man of Steel' is a movie event with an actual movie inside, crying to get out. Despite its preposterous self-seriousness, its overblown, CGI'ed-to-death climax, and its desperate efforts to depict the destruction of, well, everything on Earth, there's greatness in this retelling of the origin of Superman, moments of intimate grandeur, some marvelous, subtle acting, and a superhero costume that's a feat of mad mod genius."

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Here I am: Rihanna emerged from her Park Lane hotel in London on Friday ahead of her weekend performances for her Diamonds World Tour

Another day, another achingly cool ensemble from pop superstar Rihanna.
The 25-year-old Diamonds singer has arrived in London on Friday ready for two shows at Twickenham stadium over the weekend.
And she has showcased another effortlessly chic look as she stepped out to investigate the capital from her Park Lane hotel. Onlookers would surely be tipping their hats at the RnB princess as she sported a chic baseball cap for her day out.

Wave to the fans: The singer prepared herself to meet her adoring public who had tracked her down in the capital

The star's choice of headpiece appeared to have a patent rim at the front, with the main part of the cap black with random white squiggle designs.
It was a street addition to her otherwise high end outfit as she took a rare day off from her relentless tour ahead of her weekend shows.

You like my hat? The S&M star showed off some funky head-wear as she took some time out in the city

Riri looked slim and sexy in a cute black button up dress as she went about her day in London.
She paired her dress with a pair of simple white converse trainers as she chose a more relaxed set of footwear compared to her usual high heels.
A major fan of Chanel, the pop star carried a fun Lego inspired bag from the French fashion house, and also showed off a bit of jewellery with a statement cuff bangle.

You callin' my name? Ok, let's hug: One lucky fan got up close and personal with the superstar

She also wore a pair of sunglasses - with strings attached to the legs so they would not be able to fall off.
Perhaps in a reference to one of her more recent chart hits, she also wore large diamond earrings for her day out in town.
As always, Rihanna was greeted by crowds of fans outside her exclusive hotel.
And as always, the multi-award winning singer made sure she demonstrated her love by chatting to fans and waving to her admirers.

Ready for more: Rihanna will be performing at Twickenham stadium on Saturday and Sunday

She's no Bridget Jones! ToplessMiranda Kerr wore big pants - but still managed to look sexy - for the cover of Vogue Korea

During her days as a Victoria Secret angel, she perfected the art of lingerie modelling.
But Miranda Kerr, 30, didn't need lacy attire to help her look good on the new cover of Vogue Korea.
She managed to still look like hot property in a pair of beige big pants - reminiscent of those worn by a frumpy Bridget Jones in Renee Zellweger's hit singleton movie.

Jet set lifestyle: The model touched down at JFK airport in New York on Friday after a trip to Seoul

She was otherwise topless save for a white biker jacket and her wet hair ramped up the sexy look.
Miranda was in Seoul earlier this week on a promotional visit for Yves Saint Laurent cosmetics.
She touched back down in New York in Friday after the trip looking effortlessly stylish in jeans, a neon leopard print shirt and matching Michael Kors handbag.
Her husband Orlando Bloom was on daddy duty with two-year-old son Flynn during her trip.

Bright young thing: She wore a fluro Michael Kors bag to match her neon leopard print blouse

Miranda recently spoke about wardrobe staples, saying: 'A great pair of jeans or a cool blazer. I also like a high waisted skirt... It's really important to find out what works for you as an individual, so find pieces that you know flatter your body shaped.
'That's what I try to do. Experimenting with fashion is fun.'
Shel leads a family-centric lifestyle and has even managed to incorporate her two-year-old son Flynn into her workouts with a novel way of keeping fit.

Solo traveller: The star made the trip without her husband and son

Miranda explained to Britain's Look magazine: 'I exercise every day - be it yoga, hiking, Pilates or resistance training. I've been practicing yoga for over 10 years and my son often holds on to me like a koala! Flynn loves to dance, so I dance with him, too.'

Did you hear that rumble earlier? It was the sound of the Internet shaking as news tweeted across the world that Kanye West’s sixth solo album “Yeezus” sprang a leak, just four days before its official June 18 release.

The anticipation for the album has been massive since West coyly tweeted the release date for the effort last month. Fans expected a single, but the rollout of “Yeezus” has been unorthodox, to say the least. First, there was the screening of his “New Slaves” clip on select buildings in cities all over the world. The video was never given to conventional outlets like YouTube or MTV. Then came his “SNL” showing, where he performed “New Slaves” and the raucous “Black Skinheads.” And finally, he debuted a slew of newbies last Sunday in New York at the Governors Ball festival. Still, it wasn’t until this week that Kanye did something common for any other artist with an album on deck: he hosted a listening session. On Monday (June 10), West and his Def Jam record label invited peers and media to hear what he’d spent months in Paris and Los Angeles recording.

Kanye: From 'Dropout' to 'Yeezus' | Kanye's 20 Biggest Billboard Hits

“Yeezus” is a medley of several genres -- new wave, punk, rock, and of course hip-hop. Those looking for vintage soul sounds or even full-on raps from start to finish will be thrown several curves here. It’s an album with numerous emotional layers as well. There are a few lighthearted moments, and cuts about love along with lust. But mostly, West is just plain mad -- angry at naysayers, “The Man” censoring his art, and even at his own celeb status.

But after all is said and done, does "Yeezus" live up to the hype? Is West, in fact, the Michael Jordan of music (as he claimed in a recent New York Times article)? Here's our track-by-track analysis of the year's most aniticpated -- and what will undoubtedly be the most scrutizied -- hip-hop album of 2013.

1. On Site

The album begins like a scene a sketchy downtown dance club, as if Kanye’s trying to figure out what frequency “Yeezus” will tune to. The beat -- which comes courtesy of French dance demigods Daft Punk -- starts with fuzzy synths that turn solid to prance over the track. “Yeezy season’s approaching,” Kanye raps. “…The monster’s about to come alive again.”

2. Black Skinhead

Over tumbling, industrial-sounding drums (maybe the sort of massacre music they played back during battles at Rome’s Colosseum), West tackles the perception of a black man dating a white woman, saying racist people are “gon’ come and kill King Kong.” He’s a savage on this song, for sure -- bent on deading everything and anyone that isn’t “ready for action.” Kanye claims to be wiser than he’s ever been, meaning those in the wrong should probably watch their backs. “If I knew what I know in the past,” he raps, “I would’ve been blacked out on your ass.”

3. I Am a God

Through shooting synths, squeals and mushed bass, Kanye revels in all the negativity he’s endured -- the hate received for everything from his fashion sense to brand of hip-hop -- and proclaims himself to be a god “until the day I get struck by lightning." The pained screams towards end make this one teeter towards horrorcore. Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon pops in at the tail of this monster to haunt a bit as well.

4. New Slaves

Many are already familiar with this spiteful cut from Kanye's “SNL” performance in May. The album version is just as viscous. Kanye clowns anyone that’s more sheep than shepherd. “You see there’s leaders and there’s followers,” he starts. “But I’d rather be a dick than a swallower.” Unapologetic, as usual. “New Slaves” is basic on the production side, mainly relying on a soft bassline until a scrambled mack truck of a synth drives through on the song's especially aggressive conclusion. “Fuck you and your Hampton house,” Kanye spits, attacking officials in power positions filtering art hiding information from audiences in need of both. It drastically transforms into something soulful and visceral at the end, with West hopping on the voice-altering device Auto-Tune to sing. Frank Ocean helps close the joint with a few coos as well.

5. Hold My Liquor

Justin Vernon opens this woozy track that finds a drunk Kanye stumbling into an exes home for some emotionally reckless and scattered sex. “[The] pussy had me floating,” says West of the night. “Feel like Deepak Chopra.” There’s a healthy dose of Auto-Tune of here, too, as “Liquor” continues album's string of songs that feature several sonic twists and turns.

6. I’m In It

Here, Kanye mangles his voice and flips to beast mode while talking about the things he’s going to do to a women in bed. “All I need is sweet and sour sauce,” he says after, referring to performing oral sex on an Asian woman. That portion of the song is slow winding -- but all of a sudden, it turns into a dancehall romp. “That’s right, I’m in it,” West says repeatedly while an island guest crows every few bars.

7. Blood on the Leaves

Sampling Nina Simone’s “Strange Fruit,” “Leaves” opens softly with piano keys bouncing lightly and Kanye trying to shake some thoughts, lamenting about a failed relationship. “I just need to clear my mind now,” he sings. “It’s been racing since the summer time.” Clearly, he fails at trying to slow his mind down. Both he and the beat flip into a quaking rage. “We could’ve been somebody,” he yelps. The raps that fill the second half are cruelly aimed at groupies, then spiral back into Auto-Tuned moans. Seven songs in, and there’s still no sign of “traditional hip-hop” on “Yeezus.”

8. Guilt Trip

This is a brief thumper with Kanye once again looking back at a failed relationship. “This is the time when my heart got shot down,” he recounts in his vocals, delivered as a hybrid of raps and singing.

9. Send It Up

Sirens wail from the start as Kanye preps to enter a party -- but not before a girl and her crew ask for him to get them in. “’Can you get my Benz in the club,’” he retorts in wise-ass fashion. “’If not, treat your friends like my Benz: park they ass outside until the evening ends.’” Reggae infects “Up” at the end as well.

10. Bound 2

This one is for those starving for West’s soulful sound of yore. Sampling Ponderosa Twins Plus One’s “Bound,” Kanye confronts his “leave a pretty girl sad” reputation with women. “One good girl is worth a thousand bitches,” he says. Singer Charlie Wilson croons on the hook, effectively closing out West’s most adventurous album to date singing “there’s no leaving this party with nobody to love.”

'MAN OF STEEL' BREAKS JUNE RECORD

$
0

By JOHN NOLTE

It might not be "Iron Man 3" money ($174 million opening weekend), but the Christopher Nolan produced, Zack Snyder directed "Man of Steel," is on pace to break a June record for a non-sequel with a $120 million weekend haul. This puts Hollywood's the third attempt at a Superman franchise way ahead of the second, the pitiful "Superman Returns," which scored only $84.6 million over a five-day weekend.

According to Box Office Mojo, the previous June record holder was "Toy Story 3," with $110 million. "Tranformers: Revenge of the Fallen" came in second with $108 million. If Nikki Finke's numbers are correct, there is no question "Man of Steel" will beat the non-sequel record. It might, though, beat all records, which is something even Warner Bros. didn't dare predict.
What we have here, as well, is yet another example of a major divide between critics and moviegoers. Via the reliable Cinemascore, we know that audiences have given "Man of Steel" an A-, which signifies the kind of word of mouth and return business necessary to create a blockbuster as opposed to a one-weekend wonder. Critics, though, were nowhere near as impressed, collectively giving the film "rotten tomato" status, with a 57% ranking.
By contrast, the appalling "Superman Returns," which stripped Superman of his masculinity, Americanism, and chivalry (remember the spying on Lois Lane?) earned a 75% score from critics.

By BIANCA CARNEIRO

The happy couple: The child's birth comes just days after Kanye West's 36th birthday on June 8

Kim Kardashian gave birth to her first child on Saturday - a month ahead of her due date.
Mail Online exclusively revealed that the 32-year-old had been admitted to hospital in Beverly Hills on Friday.
The reality star had taken out a birthing suite at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center - a hospital of choice among many celebrities including Britney Spears, Victoria Beckham and Jessica Simpson.
Hours later - around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday - she gave birth to her baby girl.

Her partner, rapper Kanye West, and mother Kris Jenner were reportedly at her side.
Her due date was reportedly July 11 - the same day as Kate Middleton.
Kim had planned to have a C-section but after suffering an infection had decided to take the precaution of going to the hospital a few weeks early, according to X17Online.
Both mother and baby are in good health and resting, but given the early birthday, the littlest Kardashian has been placed in an incubator.

It's a girl! Kim Kardashian has reportedly given birth to her first daughter with Kanye West on Saturday

The 36-year-old rapper, who celebrated his birthday on June 8, was last spotted at the Yeezus listening party in Switzerland Tuesday.
He's been heavily active in promoting his new album, due out on Tuesday, and fans wondered whether he was referring to his post-Kardashian lifestyle in the lyrics to his track, New Slave.

A gift for the new mom: Best friend Brittny Gastineau stopped by the hospital Saturday afternoon bearing flowers

No further details have been released and the couple have not given any hint at what they will name their daughter.
The couple announced the pregnancy in December.
Kardashian has been married twice before - to musician Damon Thomas in her 20s and most recently to basketball player Kris Humphries.

On her way? On Friday a limousine was spotted outside Kim's home

On Friday night West skipped out on a listening party for his latest album in Los Angeles, prompting speculation the baby was on its way.
Several of Kim's close friends, including Scott Disick and Jonathan Cheban both attended the party.
Sources close to the couple later confirmed to Mail Online that she had been hospitalized.
It's been a stressful week for the pair as rumours circulated that he cheated on her with a Canadian model after they met at one of his shows, though spokespeople for both Kim and Kanye vigorously deny the claims.

Helping hand: Best friend Jonathan Cheban helped pack the private car on Friday

West raps: 'I’ll move my family out the country/So you can’t see where I stay/So go and grab the reporters/So I can smash his recorders.'
Asked for this thoughts on parenthood, he said: 'One of the things was just to be protective, that I would do anything to protect my child or my child's mother... [But I haven't fully developed those thoughts yet.'
He continued: 'Well, I just don't want to talk to America about my family. Like, this is my baby. This isn't America's Baby.'

So close: Last week she was spotted out to lunch with friends in West Hollywood

Kim was last seen out and about on Wednesday in a baby bump-hugging green Top Shop dress having lunch at Casa Vega with her friend Jonathan Cheban.
On Friday her mother Kris Jenner was spotted visiting her pregnant daughter's Los Angeles mansion, possibly ready to get a head start with the packing.
Jonathan popped by the house hours later and was spotted transporting a Louis Vuitton bag from the house and into the back of a private car.

Moral support: Kim's best friend Jonathan Cheban was seen leaving her Beverly Hills residence on Saturday as Kim is said to have made her way to Cedars-Sinai hospital

The birth of the couple's first child comes just weeks after Kim celebrated her pregnancy in a star-studded baby shower at the home of a family friend in Beverly Hills.
More than 50 guests sat amongst tens of thousands of dollars of flowers in a series of private garden marquees erected especially for the occasion.
With the shower themed in the color pink, to coincide with the sex of the baby, which was revealed on the premiere episode of the eighth season of the family's reality show.
Kanye also attended the bash arriving later and shielding his face with a hoodie.

Concern? Jonathan appeared to have a look of concern on his face

A source told the MailOnline that Kanye was very friendly to all of the guests at the bash and attentive to Kim the whole time.
'Kanye came (as fathers usually do) and spent the whole time going around to greet and say hello to everyone and every few minutes he would go back to Kim, rub her tummy, and whisper to her and make sure she was having a good time,' the insider said.
'They opened gifts together, and at the end they left together.'

Undercover father: Kanye also attended the bash arriving later and shielding his face with a hoodie

In the season premiere of season eight of her reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim revealed that she was having a baby girl, showing Kim discovering the news during an sonogram.
Dr Paul Crane, the family's doctor, laughed as he found Kim and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe, and their mother Kris Jenner all in the office excitedly waiting together.
'I don't see any pee-pees,' Dr Crane said as he tried to determine the gender, adding: 'I'm thinking it's a girl.'
'Oh my gosh! What's the percentage?' a nervous Kim was heard asking the doctor.

Oh baby, what a majestic send-off! Kate steals the show at Trooping the Colour ceremony with a dazzling last appearance before leaving the limelight

The Duchess of Cambridge travelled to the pageant in a carriage with the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry
Trio smiled and waved at the crowds lining the route as the carriage drove to the televised military spectacle
Royal family gathered on balcony on Buckingham Palace to watch spectacular RAF fly-past
After ceremony Queen paid a 'private and quiet' visit to her husband Prince Philip, who is recovering from surgery

By IAN GALLAGHER

The queen was surrounded by members of her family, who watched a Royal Air Force fly pass by on the balcony of Buckingham Palace

In many ways it was a very familiar Royal balcony tableau.
Prince William and Kate giggled and flirted. The Queen, striking in blue, acknowledged the spectacular fly-past with a beatific smile.
There was some good-natured tomfoolery from Prince Harry, who made his sister-in-law laugh with a tickling gesture. And there was even a mildly recalcitrant child, Prince Edward’s five-year-old son James, Viscount Severn, who couldn’t resist making faces.

Patriotic: The Red Arrows trial red, white and blue smoke as they fly over Buckingham Palace, seen from the rear

But the glaring omission from yesterday’s line-up at the Queen’s official birthday celebrations was, of course, the Duke of Edinburgh, who is still recovering from abdominal surgery. Without his bolstering presence, the scene appeared incomplete.
No sooner had she dispensed her final wave, though, than Her Majesty was off to visit her husband in hospital.
But if the day belonged to the 87-year-old Monarch, all eyes were on the eight-months-pregnantDuchess of Cambridge, making her last public appearance before the birth of her first child.
Before the balcony appearance, Kate watched proudly as her husband took part in the traditional Trooping the Colour on horseback as Colonel of the Irish Guards.

The Joker: Always eager to please, Harry makes Camilla and Kate chuckle during the celebrations

Wearing a pale pink Alexander McQueen coat with pearl buttons and matching hat, she had travelled to the pageant in a carriage with the Duchess of Cornwall and Harry, smiling and waving at the crowds lining the route.
Other senior Royals also arrived in carriages before the Queen made her entrance, travelling with her cousin, the Duke of Kent, in a glass coach for the short journey from Buckingham Palace to Horse Guards Parade.
The Queen, dressed in a royal blue Angela Kelly coat and hat with a matching lace dress, took the salute as her family – including the Duke of York and his daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and the Earl and Countess of Wessex with their daughter Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor – looked on.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were dressed in smart outfits and dainty hats as they attended their grandmother's official birthday celebrations. Princess Eugenie's elaborate headwear was designed by Sarah Cant

After the parade ended, the Queen was cheered as she was driven back to Buckingham Palace, and the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery fired a 41-gun salute in Green Park.
It is thought to be only the third time that Philip has missed the event after not attending in 1962 and 1968 when he was away on royal tours.
She first took the royal salute in 1951 - when she deputised for her sick father, George VI - and has continued receiving the mark of respect every year except 1955 when there was a national rail strike.

Prince Harry, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William share a joke as they gathered with other members to celebrate the grand ceremony

Other royals watching included the Duke of York and his daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and the Earl and Countess of Wessex with their daughter Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor.
Taking part in the ceremony on horseback are the Prince of Wales - who is Colonel of the Welsh Guards, the Princess Royal - who is Colonel of the Blues and Royals, and the Duke of Cambridge - who is Colonel of the Irish Guards.
More than 1,000 soldiers, horses and musicians are taking part in the parade known as 'Trooping the Color,' an annual ceremony marking the queen's official birthday.
The ceremony is also an important social occasion for the Guardsmen taking part and gives their wives, girlfriends, and relatives the chance to celebrate the achievements of the young men and enjoy the spectacle.
Many of the spectators in the stands overlooking the parade ground were dressed in morning suits or smart suits, while women wore dresses topped with hats and fascinators.
After the parade ended, the Queen was cheered by crowds gathered along the Mall as she was driven back to Buckingham Palace, where she watched an aerial display by the RAF.

Horrific images capture dispute between couple at Mayfair restaurant
Millionaire art collector, 70, has his hand around his wife's throat
Twitter users condemn pictures as 'horrifying' and 'heartbreaking'
Couple have not yet commented on the shocking photos

Alarming: Shocking pictures have emerged of Nigella Lawson, right, apparently being choked by her husband millionaire Charles Saatchi, left, during a row in a restaurant. This morning the couple both remained tight-lipped as they left their multi-million pound London home, pictured, separately

Nigella Lawson has left her marital home with a suitcase just hours after shocking pictures emerged of the TV chef apparently being choked by her husband millionaire Charles Saatchi during a row in a restaurant.
The 53-year-old mother of two looked anxious as she dashed into a waiting taxi with her teenager son - Mr Saatchi had left the multi-million pound London home 90 minutes before.
The alarming photos appear to show the couple embroiled in a major dispute as they sit outside Scott's in Mayfair, central London.

Anxious: Nigella Lawson looked stressed as she climbed into a waiting taxi with her teenage son Bruno. The photos appear to show the couple embroiled in a major dispute as they sit outside Scott's in Mayfair

On four occasions, Mr Saatchi, 70, appears to reach over and grab TV chef Nigella around the throat.
The food writer looked terrified throughout the ordeal - which has sparked outrage on the internet - and left the restaurant in floods of tears.
Although other diners were present during the incident, and one person even turned around, no-one intervened.
'It was utterly shocking to watch,' one onlooker told the Sunday People. 'I have no doubt she was scared. It was horrific, really.'

Charles Saatchi arriving at his Chelsea Flat this morning. He re-emerged a short time later, leaving their mansion off the King's Road in Chelsea, west London, shortly after 10am

It is understood to have occurred towards the end of their meal at the famous seafood restaurant, a favourite haunt of celebrities including Pippa Middleton, Jeremy Clarkson and Simon Cowell.
Art collector Mr Saatchi is pictured using first his left hand, then both, to grab his wife around the neck as she looks extremely upset.
Twice she tried to move back in apparent fear from her husband.
The incident could clearly be seen by other customers and passers-by in the busy London street - the famous couple always choose an outside table so that he can smoke copious cigarettes.
Onlookers claimed Miss Lawson dabbed her eyes on a napkin after the incident and hurriedly downed her glass of red wine.
Despite Mr Saatchi earlier 'tweaking' her nose, Miss Lawson later kisses him on the cheek.

Leaving home: On four occasions, Mr Saatchi, 70, appears to reach over and grab TV chef Nigella around the throat

Shock: The couple, pictured above during a visit to Scott's in April this year, where the alleged attack took place

A final shot shows her sobbing as she bites her lip and walks towards the awaiting car after her husband left her at the table.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police told Mail Online that Miss Lawson had not made a complaint but added: 'Officers from the Community Safety Unit at Westminster are aware of the Sunday People article. Enquires are in hand to establish the facts of the incident.'
Last night, the pictures prompted a storm of condemnation on Twitter.
One user tweeted: 'How arrogant of Charles Saatchi to abuse his wife in a public place and get away with it. Shame on all the diners near them.'

Fiery: In the past Miss Lawson has admitted she and Saatchi have their fiery moments. 'I'll go quiet when he explodes, and then I am a nest of horrible festeringness.'

Another said: 'Absolutely horrified at the Nigella Lawson story. Heartbreaking with shocking images.'
'Horrifying picture of Nigella Lawson. Her husband is ridiculous. It's so very sad and domestic abuse isn't a joke,' said another.
This morning the couple both remained tight-lipped as they left their multi-million pound London home separately.
Mr Saatchi, looked stoney-faced, left their mansion off the King's Road in Chelsea, west London, shortly after 10am.
Wearing a black suit but no tie, got into a waiting black cab and sped away.
Around 90 minutes Miss Lawson's son, Bruno, 17, from her first marriage to journalist John Diamond, emerged from the house and put a suitcase in to another waiting black cab before going back inside.
A few moments later Miss Lawson dressed all in black, came out of the house accompanied by Bruno.

Dining out: The couple frequently dine out in the capital as seen in a photo taken earlier this year. The famous couple always choose an outside table at Scott's so the art collector can smoke copious cigarettes

Fame: Miss Lawson studied at Oxford University and is estimated to have earned £15million from her cookery career

She looked straight ahead and got into the cab with Bruno, ignoring all questions from journalists, before being driven away - it is unclear where she was going.
In the past Miss Lawson has admitted she and Saatchi have their fiery moments. 'I'll go quiet when he explodes, and then I am a nest of horrible festeringness.'
Miss Lawson did not mention the incident on her Twitter page - yesterday she posed a photo alongside the caption: 'Green tea and a toasted, buttered bagel! Yum.'
The couple are due to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary in September - they have both been married before.
Miss Lawson met her first husband, the late journalist John Diamond in 1986 when they both worked for the Sunday Times. She was deputy literary editor.

Tension: Miss Lawson looked angry as she spoke to Mr Saatchi at their home in Eaton Square a few years ago

Danny Green sets NBA Finals record for most three-pointers in a series (Video)

$

By Eric Freeman

The NBA Finals is often decided by one or two huge performances from role players, but San Antonio Spurs wing Danny Green's shooting against the Miami Heat is unprecedented. With 9:39 remaining in the third quarter of Game 5, Green knocked down his 23rd three-pointer of the series, breaking Ray Allen's record for the most threes in an NBA Finals.

Green ranked seventh in the league this regular season with a 42.9 percent mark from beyond the arc. His shooting in the NBA Finals has been considerably better. Through the first four games of the series, he had made 19-of-28 long-range shots (69.8 percent). At the time of his record-breaking shot, Green had somehow done even better in Game 5, hitting four of his first five three-point attempts. That means Green converted on 23 of his first 33 tries — just better than two-thirds — to get the record.

Allen, the most prolific three-point shooter in NBA history and now Green's opponent as a member of the Heat, set the previous mark of 22 threes in six games in 2008 as a member of the Boston Celtics against the Los Angeles Lakers. Allen needed 42 attempts for his record, which underscores just how amazing Green has been this series.
Directly after Green set the record, Allen expressed his dismay at losing the record. After the jump, check out a screengrab of Allen's face (via @jose3030):

Ray Allen tastes the bitterness of losing an NBA Finals record (via @jose3030).
That's about all there is to say, Ray. Green has been downright nasty in these first five games.
The next target for Green is the record for most threes in a playoff series. The current record of 28 is held by Allen (set in 2001 as a Milwaukee Buck against the Philadelphia 76ers) and retired Orlando Magic sharpshooter Dennis Scott (set in 1995 against the Indiana Pacers). The way Green is playing, we could need to rewrite the record books once again very soon.

Jay-Z Announces New Album, 'Magna Carta Holy Grail,' In Samsung Commercial

The rapper's album debuts on July 4

Rap fans rejoice: Jay-Z will release a new album, "Magna Carta Holy Grail," on July 4. The icon announced the news through a Samsung commercial which played during tonight's (June 16) NBA Finals Game 5 (Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs).

In the three-minute ad, Jay-Z is seen recording and brainstorming in the studio with Rick Rubin, Pharrell Williams, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz. "The album is about, like this duality of how do you navigate through this whole thing, through success, through failures, through all this and remain yourself," he tells Rubin of his twelfth studio album.

"We don't have any rules. Everyone's trying to figure it out," Jay says as a ringing, piano-driven instrumental plays in the background. "We need to write the new rules."

"Magna Carta Holy Grail" will be available for free download on July 4, 12:01 a.m. EST, to the first one million Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S 4 and Galaxy Note II users. Fans will be able to unlock the album on the phone's Magna Carta app.

"The idea is to really finish the album and drop it," Jay Z says at one point. "Giving it to the world at one time and letting them share it, and it goes out."

"Great. Beautiful," Rubin responds.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Samsung paid $5.00 a piece for the 1 million copies that will be distributed to Samsung users.

The kick off to Jay-Z's album roll-out is similar to Beyoncé's. Queen Bey' previewed new material through commercials: Pepsi ("Grown Woman") and H&M ("Standing On the Sun").

Jay-Z has been seen in the studio with Drake, Timbaland, Nas, Pharrell and Justin Timberlake. In April, The-Dream hinted on an upcoming album from Hov when talking to Hot 97. "Jay's coming along pretty good; I don't know if I can say that yet," he told Hot 97's Angie Martinez.
