Grounded: Expectant mom Kim Kardashian was forced to skip boyfriend Kanye West's birthday bash in New York apparently because she's too far along in her pregnancy

Kim Kardashian wasn't there to celebrate Kanye West's birthday.
While pals like Beyonce and Jay-Z were on hand at the party in New York City, Kanye's girlfriend of more than one year was noticeably absent - stuck Los Angeles because she is no longer able to travel by plane ahead of the birth of their first child next month.
A source confirmed to Us Weekly: 'Kim isn't allowed to fly'.

Birthday boy: Kim was conspicuously absent as Kanye celebrated turning 36 years old with pals Jay-Z, Nas and others at Ms. Lily's in New York on Saturday

Kanye rang in his 36th year at Caribbean-inspired hotspot Ms Lily's.
Other guests at the low-key bash included Nas, Kourtney Kardashian's fiance Scott Disick and Kim's best friend Jonathan Cheban.
Kim was stuck in Los Angeles, her growing belly appearing to be getting bigger by the day, to await the birth of their first child due next month.

Not jealous we hope: While enormously pregnant Kim was stuck in Los Angeles, Beyonce graced Kanye's party in a sexy midriff-baring number

But her thoughts were with Kanye as he rubbed elbows with his party pals.
The reality star publicly declared her love for her boyfriend as she wished him happy birthday on Twitter on Saturday.
'Happy Birthday to my best friend, the love of my life, my soul!!!! I love you beyond words!' Kim tweeted.

Looking fabulous: Jay-Z's gorgeous wife Beyonce, who had a baby last year, showed off her tummy that was remarkably toned

The brunette beauty also attached a photo collage, featuring several pictures of the couple looking madly in love together.
Kim presented the Mercy hitmaker with a $750,000 Lamborghini for his birthday last year but sources close to Kanye revealed that he warned her not to buy him anything lavish this year.

Low-key evening: Kanye's party guest Jay-Z is a dad too and afterwards headed home with Beyonce to their baby girl Blue Ivy Carter

An insider told HollywoodLife.com: 'He doesn't want Kim to think about trying to do something big for him on his birthday when she's pregnant.
'All he really wants for his birthday is peace of mind for him and Kim.'
Kanye is due to perform at the Governor's Ball in New York on Sunday.

Overflowing with love: Kim posted a collage of couple pics wishing Kanye a happy birthday, calling him 'the love of my life, my soul!!!! I love you beyond words!'

Stylish couple: Kim showed off her bump as she and Kanye attended an event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 7

Heat Pummel Spurs to Tie Series

MIAMI — There are countless ways to dominate a game, a myriad of methods and attack points and angles, and LeBron James has mastered them all. The scheme and the scoring totals may vary, but it is the results that matter, a fact that James emphatically reminded anyone who had doubts Sunday night.

James did not score much or shoot much. His box-score totals did not leap off the page. His most memorable play was a block that merely provided a final exclamation point on the Miami Heat’s 103-84 rout of the San Antonio Spurs.

But in so many ways, both strong and subtle, James was the driving force as the Heat tied the N.B.A. finals at one game apiece. He finished with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks, yet left the bulk of the scoring to his lively supporting cast, from Mario Chalmers (19 points) to Chris Bosh (12 points) and Dwyane Wade (10 points). Ray Allen and Mike Miller combined for another 22 points off the bench, going 6 for 8 from 3-point range.

In a postseason run that has so often been defined by James’s biorhythms, this was a triumph of team over individual, even if that individual was orchestrating to great effect.

“What I do know is sharing the ball is contagious, and it allows everyone to feel involved in the offense,” James said, adding, “This team has been set up the right way, where when I do attract attention, we have guys that can make plays.”

The Spurs, who were so steady and precise in taking Game 1, had a tough time holding their offense together on this night, committing 17 turnovers — four times their Game 1 total — leading to 19 points for the Heat.

Tim Duncan made just 3 of 13 shots, finishing with 9 points and 11 rebounds. Tony Parker, the Spurs’ fourth-quarter hero last Thursday, scored just 13 points, going 5 for 14 from the field.

Danny Green, the Spurs’ least-decorated starter, was their best scorer, with 17 points and a perfect 6-for-6 shooting line.

The series now moves to San Antonio for the next three games, starting Tuesday night.

“If you would have asked me before heading to Miami, I would have said OK, I’ll take it,” Manu Ginobili said of splitting the first two games, but he added, “You don’t want to play like this in an N.B.A. finals.”

It was a memorable night for the Boston area’s two leading theater companies Sunday, as the American Repertory Theater’s circus-themed revival of “Pippin’’ won four Tony Awards while the Huntington Theatre Company was presented the 2013 Tony for regional theater during the ceremony at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

“Pippin’’ won the Tony for best revival of a musical, while ART artistic director Diane Paulus won for best direction of a musical. Paulus was nominated for best direction in 2009 for “Hair’’ and again last year for “The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess,’’ but she lost both times, although each of those shows won for best musical revival.

Diane Paulus (above), artistic director of the American Repertory Theater, won her first Tony Award Sunday night for directing the revival of ‘‘Pippin.” The musical, which opened in Cambridge before going to Broadway, took four awards.

Patina Miller, who portrayed the mysterious Leading Player in “Pippin,’’ was a Tony winner for best lead actress in a musical, and Andrea Martin won for best featured actress in a musical for her performance as Berthe, the quite literally swinging grandmother of the title character in “Pippin.’’

The American Repertory Theater’s "Pippin" won the Tony for best revival of a musical.

The victor in the heated competition for best musical was “Kinky Boots’’ — one of six Tonys the show won — beating out “Matilda the Musical.’’ A buoyant celebration of individuality wrapped around the story of a struggling shoe factory that begins producing footwear for cross-dressers, “Kinky Boots’’ features music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper, who won a Tony Award for best original score in her Broadway debut as a composer.

Host Neil Patrick Harris and casts of Broadway shows performed the opening number for this year's ceremony.

Veteran playwright Christopher Durang went home with a Tony Award for best play for “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike,’’ a Chekhov-flavored comedy of midlife ennui.
Cicely Tyson won the Tony for best lead actress in a play for her quietly devastating performance as an elderly woman struggling to get back to her long-ago hometown in “The Trip to Bountiful.’’

In her acceptance speech, Paulus saluted “Pippin’’ composer Stephen Schwartz, calling him “a treasure to the American musical theater,’’ and Roger O. Hirson, who wrote the show’s book. She also thanked “the incredible Boston audiences that embraced this production when we first started’’ (“Pippin’’ opened in January at the ART’s Loeb Drama Center in Cambridge before transferring to Broadway), the show’s cast, and her “brilliant creative team, who selflessly went back to the drawing board every time we wanted to make this show better.’’

"Pippin" director Diane Paulus won the award for best direction of a musical.

In an upset, Tracy Letts was named best lead actor in a play for his scorching, unforgettable portrayal of George in Steppenwolf Theatre Company’s revival of “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?’’
Letts prevailed over, among others, Tom Hanks (in “Lucky Guy’’) and Nathan Lane (“The Nance’’). “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?’’ won for best revival of a play, and its director, Pam MacKinnon, was the winner for best direction of a play.

Accepting the Tony for regional theater, Huntington managing director Michael Maso told the crowd that “together we celebrate our extraordinary audiences, and with you tonight we celebrate the proud, passionate, and resilient people of the great city of Boston, Massachusetts.’’ Huntington artistic director Peter DuBois gave a shout-out to his predecessors, Nicholas Martin and Peter Altman, and said of the award: “This puts wind in our sails, thank you!’’

For the second consecutive year, Judith Light got the Tony for best featured actress, this time for her portrayal of the irrepressible Faye in Richard Greenberg’s “The Assembled Parties.’’

Lucy Mecklenburgh poses in very daring swimsuit… as it's revealed she's been suspended from TOWIE following vicious scrap with Jasmin Walia

By FAY STRANG

Barely there: Lucy Mecklenburgh may have posed up a storm in Marbella but she has now been suspended from the show

She stole the show during The Only Way Is Marbs as she revealed her newly slim and super toned figure in a swimsuit.
And Lucy Mecklenburgh has done it again in images released from her recent holiday but while she may look sexier than ever, it seems she may not be all sweetness and light.
The saucy snaps come as it’s been revealed the TOWIE star and her co-star Jessica Wright have been suspended from the show following a row with Jasmin Walia, which resulted in Jasmin being injured.

Daring: Lucy was keen to show off her newly slimmed down figure during her recent holiday

Confirming the news an ITV2 spokesperson told the MailOnline: ‘We are taking this matter very seriously, and while our investigations continue, producers have informed Jessica and Lucy that they will not be filming for the show.’
On Wednesday of last week images emerged of relative newcomer Jasmin leaving James Argent’s house with two bandages on her arm.
Wedding singer Arg had hosted a small gathering at his Essex home and invited some of his co-stars Jessica Wright, Lucy Mecklenburgh, Ricky Rayment, Jasmin and Abigail Clarke.

Serious: Lucy seemed to be concentrating very hard on pulling some sexy poses

However, it appears Lucy and Jessica ended up in an argument with Jasmin, which is now believed to be over her ex-boyfriend Mario Falcone.
A source told The Sun: ‘The row was getting out of hand and way beyond the usual handbags that go on on the show.
‘A producer decided he had to act and dashed in to break it up.’

Ouch: Jasmin Walia was seen leaving James Argent's house on Wednesday with two bandages on

Upset: Jasmin looked a little downbeat as she left alongside her best friend Abigail Clarke

During the commotion, Jasmin ended up hurting her arm and was seen leaving the party with the large plasters on her arm.
After Jasmin left, Lucy and Jessica were seen talking to a crew member, who had blood on his hand.
However fans of the show will not get the chance to see what happened as producers have decided to leave the cat fight out of the show completely.

Trouble: A crew member could be seen with blood on his hand following the incident between the women

Break: While Jessica and Lucy featured in Sunday evening's episode it's unlikely they will be in Wednesday's following their suspension

On Sunday night’s show Lucy and Jasmin didn’t share a scene together but the pair previously clashed in the first Marbella special the week before.
Boutique owner Lucy told Jasmin she was 'welcome' to her ex-fiance Mario after she spotted the pair flirting.
Jasmin also enjoyed a date with male model Dan Osborne in the last series of TOWIE - who has been seen getting together with Lucy in this latest series.

Not included: Producers decided to leave the fight out of Sunday evening's episode

Moving on: While Lucy may have enjoyed a date with Dan, it's thought the row with Jasmin was over her ex Mario

It's a cinch! Woman gets a miniscule 16 inch waist by sleeping in a corset for THREE years (and she still wants to get smaller)

By RUTH STYLES and CHARLIE MCCANN

Shape shifter: 24-year-old Michele Kobke has a tiny 16in waist after wearing a corset every day and night for three years

For most of us, a slender waist is the product of a careful diet and plenty of exercise. But not for Michele Kobke, 24.
The Berliner has shrunk her waist from 25in (64cm) to just 16in (40cm) by wearing a corset every day for three years - even while sleeping.
And despite now having a waist smaller than most catwalk models, the German slimmer says she hopes to whittle her waist down to a shocking 14inches (38cm).

Change: Michele in 2008, when her waist was 25 inches,

'It embraces me and gives me [a] pretty, defined waist,' she revealed. It feels nice and smooth. It's unique.'
But Michele's tiny waist could prove to have serious consequences for her health, and already, she struggles to stand up without her corset, thanks to wasted muscles in her back and stomach.
Her stomach is so constricted, she can't eat a normal meal and instead eats up to 10 small meals a day.

and now, with a waist that is ten inches smaller

Not that she's concerned: 'My life hasn't changed, just slowed down a little,' she reveals. 'Now my movement is more feminine.
'Right now I'm a little breathless, changing corsets is like a high-performance sport for me'
Tiny though Kobke's waist is, the record for the world's tiniest midriff is held by another - American Cathie Jung, whose waist measures just under 15in (38cm).
By comparison, the average British woman has a waist that measures 33.43in (84.9cm) - equivalent to a dress size 14.

Super skinny: Michele is now trying to break the adult world record of 15in

Teensy weensy torso: Michele believes she has a great figure, but it's come at great cost to her health

However, doctors say that a waist bigger than 31.49in (80cm) could lead to serious problems, including heart disease.
Recent figures show that nearly 57 per cent of British women have waists bigger than the healthy limit set by experts.
But tests reveal that Michele's tiny waist is also causing problems, among them digestive troubles as her stomach is forced out of its natural postiion.

Michele says, 'Some people find my shape really attractive'

Apple iOS 7: Sleek, Elegant Software Redesign for iPhone, iPad

By LAUREN EFFRON (@LEffron831) and JOANNA STERN (@joannastern)

Apple product lovers, your iPhone and iPad interfaces will look radically different this year.

At Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), held at the Moscone West Center in San Francisco, Apple CEO Tim Cook and other company executives unveiled new operating systems, iOS 7 for i-devices and OS X Mavericks for Macs, as well as a new version of its MacBook Air and a sneak peek at the next MacBook Pro.

Although Apple didn't announce any new iOS devices, the big redesign featuring an array of new software upgrades in the iOS 7 operating system will make existing devices seem new.

"We want to make the best product that people use more and love more than anyone else's," Cook said.

Let's recap the major announcements:

iOS 7: An Elegant Upgrade

The new iOS 7 software has what's been dubbed 'flat' look with fewer textures and a more monochrome look. The gradient textures on tabs have also been removed in favour of block colours. Users can now swipe from the left of the screen to go back and move between messages. When you slide across in any app you now get an options menu too

The best way to describe iOS 7's new redesigned interface is that it looks like a crystal-clear pane of layered glass with elegant "flat" icons and features.

Simple and clean, Cook said, it is the "most significant iOS update since the original iPhone [debuted]."

iOS 7 will be available on the iPhone 4 and newer, iPad 2 and newer, iPad Mini and the fifth-generation of iPod Touch, starting in the fall. Developers can start playing with a beta version of the new operating system today.

Apple's New iOS 7, MacBook Air: First Look

In iOS 7, an active home screen features a new, 3D-like experience when you move the phone around and a semi-translucent keyboard. Swiping up from the bottom of the device brings up the Control Center, which allows users to manage several controls such as turning Wi-Fi on and off, opening apps, changing the screen's brightness and using Flashlight -- potentially killing off existing third-party flashlight apps.

Speaking of apps, iOS 7 sports several welcome updates to the iPhone app experience.

A selection of the new screens in Apple's iOS 7 software, which will be available as a free upgrade to iPhone and iPad users in the Autumn. From left to right is Apple's new streaming service iTunes Radio, Photos Moment, the new homescreen, Control Center and iBooks

Craig Federighi, Apple's senior vice president of software engineering, announced that iOS 7 has improved Multitasking for apps -- basically, separating apps that are used constantly versus apps that get occasional use -- and will allow for better battery life.

Apps will now be updated automatically through Apple's App Store.

Apps are big business for Apple. Cook announced today that the company has paid out $10 billion to app developers, and there are 900,000 apps available in Apple's App Store, which has had 50 billion app downloads.

There are hundreds of other new features in iOS 7, including the Notification Center, enhanced Photos, Safari, Airdrop, upgrades to Siri's interface and voice, as well as the introduction of iTunes Radio.

Airdrop, a feature that allows users to send files from one Mac to another, is coming to iOS devices for the first time, but will only be available on the iPhone 5, the fourth-generation of iPad and the iPad Mini.

iTunes Radio: Answer to Pandora, Spotify

iTunes Radio, a free Internet radio service based on the music users listen to on iTunes, is Apple's answer to Internet radio giants such as Pandora and Spotify.

Similar to other online music-streaming products, iTunes Radio has over 200 stations and allows users to create stations based on artists or songs, but Apple's version also offers stations based on what others users are talking about, including a Trending on Twitter station and an Artists on Tour station.

The feature is built into iOS 7, and will be available on supporting iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad devices, as well as iTunes on Mac and PC and Apple TV.

Internet radio has become the new favorite hook of tech giants to attract new users. Just last month, Google announced it was jumping on the online music streaming bandwagon with its All Access service through Google Play.

Details about new console revealed at E3 electronic entertainment trade show in Los Angeles

Microsoft has revealed that its new Xbox One games console will carry an expensive price tag of over £400 when it is launched in November.

The US firm announced at the E3 electronic entertainment trade show in Los Angeles that its latest piece of hardware will set gamers back £429.

It came just hours before Microsoft's rival Sony was set to raise the curtain on its new PlayStation 4, pushing the next-gen console wars between both tech giants to fever pitch.

Microsoft's presentation saw the unveiling of Xbox One games, with a mix of legendary franchises such as Metal Gear Solid and Halo together with a clutch of new titles.

It also introduced new features such as Twitch, which will allow players to broadcast their gaming sessions live online.

Video games expert Daniel Krupa, who writes for entertainment website IGN, said: "At £429, the Xbox One will be an expensive investment when it launches in November – but Microsoft's wide array of games was a clear statement of intent for those who worried it might focus too heavily on the entertainment features.

"They have significantly invested in a wide range of gaming experiences, from triple-A blockbusters to quieter indie titles, and games for kids.

"From what we've seen so far, both Microsoft and Sony want to make next-gen gaming a more social experience, even allowing you to broadcast your gaming session live to the internet.

"The price is high, but the Xbox One right now has bags of functionality and promise.

"All eyes are now on Sony to see what they have up their sleeves for round two."

The Xbox One, described as an "all-in-one system" for games, live television, films and music, was first unveiled at Microsoft's US headquarters in Redmond, Washington, last month.

It incorporates a Blu-ray drive, the use of video calling service Skype, and an upgraded Kinect camera which allows the device to better analyse body movements.

Sony is due to offer gamers a first complete view of its new PS4 at E3 later in the day, following a sneak preview revealed some details earlier this year.

It is the first major games machine the Japanese firm has built since the PlayStation 3 went on sale in 2006.

New features are expected to focus on social networking and remote access, and Sony's device also includes a button allowing users to broadcast video of play to friends.

Meanwhile, Apple also made a third major tech revelation on the day as it showcased its newest operating system at a developers conference in San Francisco, California.

Microsoft also unveiled new games for its Xbox 360, which was first released in 2005, after the company said it cared about gamers' investment in the console.

Stuart Miles, who runs tech website Pocket Lint, said he had been surprised by the sheer number of games that Microsoft presented.

"They are still relying on the Halos of this world, but there are also nicer, smaller titles which shows they are not just regurgitating sequel after sequel," he said.

Asked about the pricing of the Xbox One, he said: "Whether they are pushing the outer limits of what people can accept is debatable, but there is a lot of tech in there so they have to price it that way.

"It is a tough sell but the reality is, if you want it you want it, and that is probably the price it should be – and there is the appetite and the games to go with it."

Referring to the "console wars", Miles said: "I think Sony's is the more exciting presentation because they have got the new box to launch and there is more still to come, whereas people kind of feel they know everything about the Xbox One by now.

"But that could all change in a matter of hours."

Sony takes aim at Microsoft with PlayStation 4

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Sony broke out the heavy ammunition Monday against Microsoft, announcing its forthcoming PlayStation 4 will cost $399 — $100 less than the competing Xbox One.
"The gaming landscape is changing with new business models and new ways to play," said Andrew House, president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment.

The price announcement wasn't the only shot fired at Microsoft during Sony's presentation at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, the gambling industry's annual U.S. trade show. The loudest applause at the company's event show came when Jack Tretton, president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America, announced that the company would not try to restrict used game sales. Tretton also said the PS4 would not require a persistent online connection.
"PlayStation 4 disc-based games don't need to be connected online to play or any type of authentication," said Tretton. "If you enjoy playing single-player games offline, PS4 won't require to you check in online period and it won't stop working if you haven't authenticated in 24 hours."

Microsoft has been criticized for its vague statements about whether it will allow buyers of its Xbox One to play secondhand software, as well as its requirement that the new console be connected to the Internet at least once every 24 hours.
Beyond those issues, Sony gave potential PS4 buyers plenty of games to look forward to later this year. The company's Santa Monica Studios, the developer of the "God of War" franchise, introduced the steampunk thriller "The Order: 1866." Quantic Dream, the French studio behind "Heavy Rain" and the upcoming "Beyond: Two Souls," provided a comical glimpse at the fantasy "The Dark Sorcerer."
Shu Yoshida, president of Sony Worldwide Studios, said the company's studios have more than 30 PS4 games in development, including 12 brand new intellectual properties.
Sony also showed new footage from previously announced PS4 games like the superhero adventure "InFamous: Second Son," the auto racing simulator "Drive Club" and the sci-fi shooter "Killzone: Shadow Fall."

Several third-party developers also debuted next-generation titles at Sony's event. Bungie, the creator of the blockbuster Xbox series "Halo," showed the first in-game footage of its highly anticipated first-person shooter "Destiny." Warner Bros. showed a clip from a new "Mad Max" game, while Square-Enix announced the long-awaited "Kingdom Hearts III" and "Final Fantasy XV." Overall, Tretton said, more than 140 PS4 titles are in the pipeline.
That includes an assortment of games from smaller, independent developers, which Sony featured onstage next to giant publishers like Activision and Ubisoft. The processing chips in the PS4 are similar to those in PCs rather than the complex, idiosyncratic "Cell" architecture used in the PS3. That should make it easier for developers of all sizes to build games for Sony's new console.
Like Microsoft, Sony is betting big on social networking features. The new version of its DualShock controller includes a "share" button that allows you to post gameplay footage and screenshots.
Friends can watch as you play a game, and you'll even be able to let a pal take control of your game from afar if you can't get past a tough battle. The controller also includes a touchpad and a Move motion sensor that works with a camera placed near the TV set.

Trim: Lucy Mecklenburgh showed off her gym-honed figure in a topless photoshoot for Heat magazine

Her super toned figure was the talk of Marbella during filming on The Only Way Is Marbs.
However, despite fears she has taken her dieting and fitness regime too far, Lucy Mecklenburgh insists she is healthy.
Posing topless for the new issue of Heat magazine, the fashion boutique owner, 21, admitted she was pleased with her size 8 figure.

'Just breathing in': Lucy on a photoshoot in France last month

Although she admits the weight fell off her following her April split with ex-fiance Mario Falcone, Lucy has been spending time working out and overhauling her eating regime.
In fact, she insists she's actually bigger now than she was in the initial days following her love split.
When she was photographed on the beach last week, some observers accused her of having 'jutting ribs and hip-bones'.
However, the Essex girl tells the new issue of Heat: 'I was breathing in because I was cold. That’s not what I really look like, as you can see in these pictures.

and filming TOWIE last week

'I wouldn’t let myself get like that. Probably after I split up with Mario I did get a bit too skinny, but I did something about it.'
Lucy has been working with a personal trainer and is set to share her fitness tips with fans through her Results With Lucy website.
She explained: 'I don’t like the skinny-skinny look. I don’t think I’m too thin. My personal trainer wouldn’t let me get too thin, and neither would my family.
'I’m feeling good. I’ve worked hard for it. I always eat healthily, and I use a personal trainer two to three times a week.
'I’d never let myself go below 8st. I’m 8st 4lb now. This is my ideal weight.'

The full interview and more amazing pictures appear in this week¿s heat magazine, on sale now

She also insisted that she would never reunite with her ex Mario, who she was seen throwing a glass of red wine over during an argument in Marbella.
She said: 'I’ll never get back with him. It’s 100 per cent finished.'
However, fans may have to wait a little longer to find out Lucy's next move as she's been suspended from the ITV2 show following an argument with co-star Jasmin Walia.

E3 2013: Nintendo Direct review

$
0
0
Edge Staff at 08:31pm June 11 2013

Nintendo’s E3 briefing lacked the pomp and gawky humour of its usual stagebound theatrics, and not just because Iwata transmitted it from an empty hall on the seventh floor of his headquarters through a Nintendo Direct missive. This time he had no hardware to announce, no partnerships to celebrate, no pricepoints to slash. He ripped through all that months ago.

Instead, like Microsoft, this presentation was all about the games. And boy, there was barely an aiming reticle or reload in sight. We can at least hold to that. Nintendo’s 45 minutes of irrepressible colour and light was a counterpoint to the grit and flame of Sony and Microsoft’s game rosters, a testament to its firm, unshakable, implacable resolve to do things its own way.

Which also gave its procession of games a sense of overfamiliarity that failed to connect with the passion so many hold for Nintendo in its prime. Put it this way, we just saw a new Mario game for a home console! A Mario game that follows the tightly inventive masterclass that is Super Mario 3D Land on 3DS. A Mario game with a cat suit and Super Mario Bros 2-style character abilities.

There’s little question that Super Mario 3D World will turn out to be anything less than superlatively polished and skilfully designed, its multiplayer riotous and levels thick with secrets. But it looks awfully safe. Wii U is still lacking its Mario Galaxy, its Mario Sunshine, its Mario 64, its Mario World. A Mario game which from its announcement hints to Nintendo ascribing the creative limits of its generation. Because that’s what a Mario game is for, right?

With a brevity that seemed to promise a storm of revelation to come, Iwata hurried on to show off Mario Kart 8 for Wii U, its new feature an anti-gravity capability that allows looping, twisting tracks in 3D space. You’ll forgive us for getting a little weepy at all-too distant memories of F-Zero GX rather than a quickened pulse at the prospect of another Mario Kart.

Again, Mario Kart is safe, as is Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze and Super Smash Bros. Nintendo’s E3 2013 roster isn’t a show of creative strength but a retreat to base principles, amid a sprinkling of apologies for the delays of Wii Fit U and Wii Party U into 2014 that had Iwata breaking out that heartbreaking bow again. At this critical stage in Wii U’s life its release schedule is startlingly quiet, a deep disappointment for those who’ve bought one, and complete failure to compete with the bright oncoming lights of PS4 (oh, and Xbox One).

EXCLUSIVE: The beautiful ballerina girlfriend whistleblower Ed Snowden was set to wed before he left her in Hawaii and fled to Hong Kong to leak NSA secrets. Now she says she feels ‘adrift’

Lindsay Mills, 28, is reportedly the girlfriend Edward Snowden left behind when he leaked information about PRISM surveillance
She wrote on a blog about romantic heartbreak after Snowden fled to Hong Kong
'My world has opened and closed all at once. Leaving me lost at sea without a compass' she wrote
Couple previously went to Hong Kong for romantic getaway
Mills is a ballerina who attended the Maryland Institute College of Art
She performs with the Waikiki Acrobatic Troupe

By DANIEL BATES, MICHAEL ZENNIE and HELEN POW

'My world has opened and closed all at once. Leaving me lost at sea without a compass,' Lindsay Mills writes about being suddenly left by NSA whistle blower Ed Snowden. Mills describes spending time with her mystery man, who clearly resembles Snowden

The whistleblower who leaked the NSA's secrets thought about marrying his girlfriend and had previously taken her on a romantic break to Hong Kong - where he was last seen fearing arrest.
Family friends told MailOnline that Ed Snowden, 29, wanted to be with stunning pole dancer Lindsay Mills for the rest of his life but took the decision to throw it all away to expose the US government.

Stunning ballerina Lindsay Mills, 28, took to her blog on Monday to detail her heartbreak over being suddenly left by 29-year-old Ed Snowden

They were deeply in love and on her blog Mills, 28, dotingly called him her ‘man of mystery’ who she had followed around the world for the last four years.
On Monday she took to the blog - where she has posted dozens of photos of herself semi-naked - to tell of her heartbreak.
Mills wrote: 'My world has opened and closed all at once. Leaving me lost at sea without a compass.

Better times: Lindsay Mills seen here with Ed Snowden before he suddenly took off for Hong Kong after leaking confidential information

'As I type this on my tear-streaked keyboard I’m reflecting on all the faces that have graced my path.
'The ones I laughed with. The ones I’ve held. The one I’ve grown to love the most. And the ones I never got to bid adieu.
‘But sometimes life doesn’t afford proper goodbyes.'
Snowden fled to Hong Kong after exposing the NSA's PRISM program which gives officials easy access to data held by nine of the world’s top internet companies, including Google, Facebook, Microsoft and Skype.
It was a heartbreaking turn of events for Mills who had lived with Snowden since at least 2009 when they were in Japan together.

This photograph of a Hawaiian sunset was taken by Mills recently. She has taken to her blog to write about her regret over how 'sometimes life doesn't afford proper goodbyes'

Last year he whisked her 8,000 miles from their home south of Baltimore, Maryland to Hong Kong where family friends thought they got married because it was a 'special place' for them.
Now he is back there, hiding out and terrified he will be arrested and extradited back to the US for leaking details about how the NSA puts millions of Americans under surveillance.
Mills’ blog gives an insight into the ups and downs the couple went through - and her own feelings against the snooping state.
Their relationship may have been brought to an unconventional end - but it hardly seems conventional from the start.
Written under the name ‘L’s Journey’ she calls Snowden ‘E’ and her ‘man of mystery’, whilst referring to herself as a ‘vagabond’.

It appears that Mills was performing with the Waikiki Acrobatic Troupe. She also took classes last year from another troupe, Samadhi Hawaii, though never performed with the company

On the face of it they are totally different people - she is an extrovert who enjoys walking around naked whenever she can, spends her Sunday evenings in circus classes and surrounds herself with bohemian eccentrics.
The title of her blog reads: ‘Adventures of a world-traveling, pole-dancing super hero.'
In an early post on August 17 2011 she also writes: 'I’ve always wanted to be splashed on the cover of magazines, with my best air-brushed look. Unfortunately I wasn’t born a greek, amazon, sex goddess - but a petite dreamer.'

Performer: Lindsay Mills performs in the Waikiki Acrobatic Troupe and in dance shows in Hawaii

Snowden by contrast is a shy computer geek from a suburban family who likes to spend Sundays at football games and needs to be coaxed out of his shell to even do karaoke.
Mills writes that when she finally introduced him to her friends in Hawaii they didn't believe he actually existed because he was so hard to pin down.
Before they moved to Hawaii they spent their days doing things like camping, pumpkin picking or skeet shooting together near their Maryland homes.
He bought her gifts like a Star Trek style visor and took many of the dozens of pictures of her on her blog.
Some of the posts now have a certain irony, such as her joking that she likes pretending to be a spy.
At one point she writes: 'In case you didn’t know, I am an international woman of mystery. Or at least I will be in tonight’s performance. Going 007 with a twist for this Friday’s show.'

Keeping a secret: Snowden says he never told his girlfriend about his life-altering plans, saying he left weeks ago saying only that he had to travel for business

Their lives also seem to be very much up in the air and she writes of having traveled through 17 countries in her life.
In March last year she writes of how her ‘inevitable lover Change is knocking and I wish I had an answer for him’.
She writes: ‘We received word that we have to move out of our house by May 1.
‘E is transferring jobs. And I am looking to take a mini trip back East. Do I move with E, on my own, to Antarctica? How long do I spend back home and when should I go?
‘For now I’ll spin my magic ball and see where I land.’

Hotel hide-out: The Mira Hotel, pictured, in the Tsim Sha Tsui neighborhood of Hong Kong has confirmed someone named Edward Snowden was a guest at the hotel but checked out on Monday

That month Snowden moved to Hawaii and two months later Mills joined him.
She freely admits that it was to save their relationship as they appear to having been going through a rocky patch that continues after her arrival.
She writes how she seriously considers taking a plane home most days and that she can’t settle down - until July comes.
Then she writes: ‘The sun falling, sweat-building, and my yard growing tidier - I looked over at E and smiled.
‘This was the most adult, boring moment I’ve had ever. I felt grown up, suburban, and oddly content.
‘But neither of us can stay adult for too long, as yard work turned into palm fencing - a duel that ended in laughter instead of death. I was able to find my happy romantic date in the end.
‘Proving that you don’t have to do big fancy things or go far from home to reconnect with someone you love.’

Prisoner: Mr Snowden described how he had barely left his room, similar to that pictured, at the hotel, now revealed to have been the Mira Hotel

First look! Orlando Bloom reprises his role as arrow-shooting Legolas in new Hobbit trailer The Desolation of Smaug

Return of the elf: Orlando Bloom reprises his role as Legolas, from the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, in the second instalment of The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug

The pointy eared archer Legolas is back.
The immortal elven prince, portrayed by Orlando Bloom, makes a fiery entrance in the new trailer for the second instalment of the Hobbit trilogy, The Desolation Of Smaug.
With his trademark blonde half ponytail and long bow, Orlando slides into frame in the opening sequences of the teaser drawing an arrow on Thorin Oakenshield, played by Richard Armitage, threatening: 'Do not think I won't kill you dwarf.'

Watch out! Orlando shows off his archery skills as he fights Orcs in the fantasy adventure film

Orlando, with his bow fully drawn, says the lines after careening down a steep leaf strewn knoll only to land effortlessly on his feet.
Legolas is later seen talking with Evangeline Lilly's new elven character Tauriel, as she appears to convince him of offering his aid to the dwarves and the Hobbit Bilbo Baggins, saying: 'It is our fight.'
But Orlando, 36, draws his bow more than once in the trailer, as he can be seen aiming at the head of an Orc during a battle scene in a sunlit clearing on a mountain top.

Unexpected arrival: Orlando's Legolas was not a part of the original The Hobbit but was written into the film adaptation to spice up the storyline

The appearance of Legolas will most likely be an unexpected development for fans of the fantasy novel The Hobbit, which preceded the epic J.R.R. Tolkien trilogy The Lord Of The Rings.
While Orlando's character featured prominently in both the books and Peter Jackson's film version of the three part LOTR series, he was not in the original story of The Hobbit.
Jackson offered an explanation for writing Legolas into the Hobbit films to Entertainment Weekly: 'He’s [elven king] Thranduil’s son, and Thranduil is one of the characters in The Hobbit, and because elves are immortal, it makes sense Legolas would be part of the sequence in the Woodland Realm.'
The director also promised that Orlando's appearance is 'more than a cameo.'

Mixing it up: Director Peter Jackson admitted that Evangeline's character was added to bring a female element to the male dominated story

In 2011 Jackson announced Orlando's casting on his Facebook page, writing: 'Ten years ago, Orlando Bloom created an iconic character with his portrayal of Legolas.
'I'm excited to announce today that we'll be revisiting Middle Earth with him once more. I’m thrilled to be working with Orlando again.'
Adding: 'Funny thing is, I look older—and he doesn’t! I guess that's why he makes such a wonderful elf.'

Danny Green, Gary Neal lead Spurs, who break NBA Finals record with 16 3-pointers, in rout of Heat

LeBron failed to score 20 for the third straight and spent much of the night trying to facilitate the offense as opposed to imposing his will on the game. He finished with 15 points on 7-for-21 shooting and didn’t get much help from his teammates.

BY FRANK ISOLA / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

LUCY NICHOLSON/REUTERS

Danny Green is almost unstoppable from beyond the arc, going 7-for-9.

SPURS 113, HEAT 77
SAN ANTONIO – LeBron James isn’t supposed to be upstaged by a guy who bounced around Europe and another who spent time in the D-League. Maybe that happens once during a regular season but not at this time of year.
But that’s exactly what Danny Green and Gary Neal did in Game 3 of the NBA Finals as the two role players embarrassed the Miami Heat, outplayed LeBron and now have the San Antonio Spurs two wins from another title.

Both Green and Neal outscored LeBron as the Spurs, who never trailed, crushed the Miami Heat 113-77 to take a 2-1 series lead. Game 4 is Thursday. Green, born and raised in North Babylon, N.Y., scored 22 of his 27 points in the second half as the Spurs broke the game open. Green, LeBron’s former teammate in Cleveland who landed in the D-League before finding a home in San Antonio, made 9 of 15 shots including 7 of 9 3-pointers.
Neal’s basketball odyssey began in Turkey and including stops in Spain and Italy before he joined the Spurs. His career night also came on the biggest stage as the back-up guard scored 14 of his 24 points in the first half and made 6 of 10 3-pointers overall.

Meanwhile, LeBron failed to score 20 for the third straight and spent much of the night trying to facilitate the offense as opposed to imposing his will on the game. He finished with 15 points on 7-for-21 shooting and didn’t get much help from his teammates as Udonis Haslem and Mario Chalmers both went scoreless while Dwyane Wade scored 16 and Chris Bosh added 12 on 4-for-10 shooting. Mike Miller scored 15 off the bench, making all five 3-pointers he attempted.
Just as Miami crushed San Antonio with an emphatic 33-5 run in the second half of Game 2, the Spurs outscored the Heat 69-33 after Miami tied the game late in the first half. Tim Duncan had 12 points and 14 rebounds in 29 minutes and Kawhi Leonard, the first-round pick who has been outstanding in the Spurs' two wins, added 14 points and 12 rebounds.
PHOTOS: SPURS SHOOT WAY PAST HEAT IN GAME 3 ROUT
The Spurs won despite Tony Parker scoring just six points with eight assists in 27 minutes. Manu Ginobili scored seven off the bench. Both teams cleared their benches with 5:43 remaining and the Spurs leading 102-71.
LeBron and the Heat imploded in the third quarter as San Antonio, with Green and Neal knocking down long jumpers, extended its lead to 21. James missed his first five shots of the second half and didn’t score until there was 1:37 left in the third. However, James’ first 3-pointer got him into a rhythm and he responded with nine quick points before Tiago Splitter’s dunk at the end of the period gave the Spurs a 78-63 lead.

LUCY NICHOLSON/REUTERS

The Heat look stunned, with LeBron James only scoring 15 points in the game and only 4 in the first half.

ERIC GAY/AP

Danny Green (l.) and Gary Neal combine for 51 points to lead the Spurs over Heat.

LeBron scored just four first-half points and yet Miami, despite falling behind by 11 with three minutes left in the second quarter, made its run when Mike Miller’s 3-pointer ignited a 12-1 Miami run. Miller contributed a pair of three’s while it was Wade’s reverse lay-up that tied it at 44.
But after Parker hit a corner three, Danny Green blocked LeBron’s driving lay-up which with five seconds left. Parker took two dribbles before finding Neal, who’s pull-up 3-pointer beat the buzzer and gave the Spurs a 50-44 lead. Neal led all scorers with 14 points after converting 4 of 6 3-pointers. Neal had scored a total of 17 points in the first two games.
Neal opened up the fourth quarter with a long 3-pointer over Chris Andersen and then after Wade missed on a pull-up, Neal drained yet another three. Green, who scored eight in the third period, then rebounded his own miss to make it 86-63 with 10:33 remaining.
“It's just about trying to have an incredible sense of urgency now as we change venues here in their comfort zone, can we exceed that level of urgency that they'll have tonight,” Erik Spoelstra had said before tip-off.
The answer was painful obvious. Duncan and Ginobili began the fourth quarter on the bench while the Spurs, with Green hitting back-to-back 3-pointers, stretched its lead to 29.

What happened to bootylicious Beyonce? Roberto Cavalli erases singer's famous curves in press release

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Now that's a stretch: A press release sent out Tuesday by Roberto Cavalli featured a seriously thin image of Beyonce in a multi-colored silk gown he designed exclusively for her current world tour

It seems Beyonce's body proved too bootylicious for fashion designer Roberto Cavalli.
A press release was sent out by the fashion house on Tuesday featuring the 31-year-old pop singer in a gorgeous, flowing multi-coloured silk gown with many embellishments and cut-outs that he designed exclusively for the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.
However, the singer's natural, voluptuous body had been reduced to an obscenely skinny size, with her thighs nearly as thin as her arms.

Beyonce, in real-life: The 31-year-old singer and mother of one looked fantastic in the gown in real-life and entirely different from the photo in the press release

Fortunately, the press release also included photos from the actual concert, showing the differences between the digitally-altered Beyonce and the real-life star.
While fashion sketches regularly use elongated figures, the image appeared to be a strange Photoshop picture rather than a hand-drawing.

Looking fabulous: Beyonce sings in her exclusively made Roberto Cavalli silk gown at a show on her The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour

The digitally altered photograph triggered dozens of comments from outraged fans after it was posted on the Roberto Cavalli Facebook page - with many suggesting it portrays an 'unrealistic ideal'.
One commentator wrote: 'Why would you do such a sketch that clearly doesn't reflect her shape?!
'I really don't get why brands force women to follow certain kind of body shapes that most people find unattractive. Real Beyonce figure is!'
And another added: 'If this is supposed to be a sketch of Beyonce why not actually draw Beyonce instead of some imaginative image which fits the status quo for sickly looking run way models??
'She is absolutely gorgeous just the way she is, not as she's represented in that sketch.'
Of course, Beyonce is not a fan of being airbrushed and last week controversy arose between the Grown Woman singer and international clothing retailer H&M.

Flowing gown: The Roberto Cavalli gown was perfectly elegant for a performance by Beyonce

After a number of images from the pop star's Summer 2013 Collection campaign were apparently altered to remove some of her curves and reflect a smaller size, Beyonce reportedly ordered executives to pull those images altogether.
The company obliged after a few discussions and ran the original photos from the shoot saying in a statement that, 'Our purpose has always been to portray Beyoncé as the strong and beautiful woman she is. It has been a good working process and a close cooperation. Both parties are happy with the images.'
The singer has yet to publicly comment on the situation.

H&M controversy: The pop singer was reportedly also at odds with executives at the international retailer for removing curves from her body in advertisements, forcing the photos to be removed from the campaign

While she might not like Photoshop, she also isn't too keen on being pictured in an unflattering light.
In February, after her lauded and fierce performance at this year's Superbowl halftime show, a number of unflattering stills of Beyonce were published by Buzzfeed, prompting her publicist to now infamously ask them to be taken down.
The natural response from the Internet was to take those seven embarrassing snaps and Photoshop them into just about ever scenario possible, ensuring their proliferation.

Not pregnant, ok? To really put the rumours of her pregnancy to rest, Beyonce wore a black and white striped top that exposed her midriff at Kanye West's birthday party on Sunday

Beyoncé, who already is mother to Blue Ivy with Jay-Z, has also been subject to pregnancy rumours since mid-May.
On Tuesday of last week Team Beyoncé shut down the rumours again telling Gayle King on CBS This Morning that she 'is absolutely positively not pregnant at this time.'
The rumour mill kicked into high gear after Beyoncé cancelled a show in Belgium due to extreme exhaustion and dehydration.
But the Run the World singer played coy earlier this week regarding speculation she is expecting her second child, joking that she hadn't heard about the rumours.

NBA Finals 2013, Heat vs. Spurs Game 3: Danny Green approaching 3-point record

$

0
By Jason Patt

Mike Ehrmann

Spurs guard Danny Green has already hit 16 three-pointers in the NBA Finals, which is just six short of the record set by Ray Allen in 2008.

Two years ago, Danny Green was an afterthought. In April 2011, Green found himself toiling in the D-League with the Austin Toros after being waived by both the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs before the Spurs picked him up again and sent him to Austin. At that time, the only thing Green was known for was being a dance sidekick to LeBron James in Cleveland.

Fast forward to the present, and Green is making a name for himself with his red-hot three-point shooting in the NBA Finals. Green has already made 16 three-pointers through three games, which is a franchise record in an NBA Finals series. Green's also just six short of the NBA Finals record set by Ray Allen as a member of the Boston Celtics in 2008. It's only fitting that Green is putting on this remarkable shooting display against Allen and James.

Green was lights out in San Antonio's 113-77 blowout of the Miami Heat in Game 3 on Tuesday, scoring 27 points on 9-of-15 shooting overall and 7-of-9 from three-point range. Green went 6-of-7 from long range in the second half as the Spurs blew the doors off the Heat to take a 2-1 series lead. As a team, San Antonio made 16 three-pointers, an NBA Finals record.

This performance comes after Green was one of the few bright spots in an ugly Game 2 loss. Green made all five of his threes in Game 2, meaning he has made 12 of his last 14 from deep. For the series, he's 16-of-23.

Green's emergence is huge for San Antonio, as he helps space the floor and make Miami pay for their sometimes over-aggressive defense. Green has also taken advantage of Dwyane Wade, who too often has lost the Spurs' guard beyond the arc.

Green is currently leading the NBA Finals in scoring with 56 points, which is quite the feat considering where he was just a couple of years ago. If Green continues his hot shooting, he may just find himself holding the NBA Finals MVP trophy in a few days.

Model claims Kanye West 'cheated' on pregnant Kim Kardashian... after telling her 'relationship was for publicity'

Model told US magazine Star they met after his show which Kim attended
Claims he told her relationship with Kim was 'nothing serious'
Said they were 'naked and had sex in his Atlantic City hotel room'
Claims rapper contacted her 'last weekend' asking to meet up

By SARAH BULL

'If I was Kim and about to have a baby, I'd want to know': Canadian model Leyla Ghobadi has claimed Kanye West cheated on Kardashian with her

A Canadian model claims rapper Kanye West cheated on pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian after they met at one of his shows.
In stunning claims Leyla Ghobadi, 24, told America's Star magazine that their fling started in July 2012 and continued even after Kim had announced her pregnancy after Kanye dismissed his relationship with the reality star as just 'for publicity and nothing serious'.

Determined: But Kanye is said to have set his sights on the model who bears more than a passing resemblance to Kim, and offered her and her friends backstage passes and free tickets to his next gig the following night

Explaining her decision to reveal the relationship, brunette Leyla said: 'This is going to destroy the Kardashian family. It’s bad. It’s really bad. It’s just embarrassing. But if I were Kim and about to have a baby, I would want to know.'

Setting his sights on her: It's not hard to see what Kanye reportedly saw in Leyla, a 24-year-old model from Canada

Kim's representatives have denied the reports, while Kanye's people have yet to respond to MailOnline's request for comment.
Kanye is said to have first set his sights on curvy model Leyla when he saw her dancing in the crowd at his show in Atlantic City in July last year.
And despite Kim also being present at the gig in Revel’s Ovation Hall, Kanye reportedly instructed a member of his entourage to seek out Leyla and invite her backstage.
The rapper is then reported to have invited Leyla for cocktails at AC’s HQ Nightclub, before asking her to come back to his hotel room.

Imminent arrival: Kanye looked less than happy as he stepped out in New York on Monday, while Kim counts down the days until her fast approaching due date

Working up until she pops: Kim was seen on Tuesday shooting scenes for Keeping Up With The Kardashians at her Malibu mansion

Centre of attention: Kim dressed in slimming black as she shot scenes getting out of her car at the property

However, Leyla declined, adding to the publication: 'I refused, as I felt it was too rushed.'
Kanye then reportedly asked Leyla and her friends, who had driven down from Montreal to watch his show, if they wanted to attend the concert the next evening, and gave them backstage passes.
And while Leyla admits she knew Kanye was with Kim at the time, she said the 36-year-old musician told her the relationship was 'for publicity and nothing serious'.

Bikini body: Leyla initially refused Kanye's advances, but then says she gave in and accompanied him back to his hotel room

Not taking no for an answer: Leyla even alleges that Kanye contacted her this weekend to see if she wanted to meet up but she declined

After agreeing to accompany Kanye back to his hotel room after chatting to him backstage, Leyla said: 'We began to make out for a while - and next thing I knew, we were both naked and having sex.'
The couple's next reported meeting came in October in New York, as Kim, who had not announced her pregnancy at that point, was in Miami.
Leyla even alleges that Kanye contacted her just last weekend to see if she wanted to meet up, but said that at that point she was fully aware of Kim's pregnancy, adding: 'I would never do that to someone.'

As they were: Kanye and Kim looked very much in love as they added the Met Ball together in New York on 6th May

Kim and Kanye announced her pregnancy in December 2012, with Kanye revealing the happy baby news to the crowd during a concert in Atlantic City.
The rapper said 'stop the music', then announced 'make noise for my baby mama right here,' with a wide smile.
Kanye and Kim had been dating for eight months at that point, but have been friends for a number of years.
In a lengthy interview he gave to the New York Times to promote his forthcoming album Yeezus, Kanye spoke about his reasons for not participating in Keeping In The Kardashians, his love for Kim and becoming a father.
He said: 'I’m the type of rock star that likes to have a girlfriend, you know? I’m the type of soul that likes to be in love and likes to be able to focus. And that inspires me.

Catching her eye: Leyla alleges that Kanye sent one of his team to ask her backstage after this performance at Revel's Ovation Hall in Atlantic City in July 2012

'You know, the amount of backlash I got from it is when I decided to not be on the show anymore. And it’s not that I have an issue with the show; I just have an issue with the amount of backlash that I get. Because I just see like, an amazing person that I’m in love with that I want to help.'
On becoming a father he said his first instinct is to be protective of his baby - and its privacy.
He said: 'I would do anything to protect my child or my child’s mother. As simple as that...I just don’t want to talk to America about my family. Like, this is my baby. This isn’t America’s baby.'

Pleased with himself: Usually grumpy Kanye smiled and laughed with friends at his Yeezus Listening Party on June 10

The couple have looked very much in love in recent months as they prepare for the arrival of their first child together.
However, their lack of time together in recent weeks has hit headlines, with the couple's last outing together coming in mid-May.
But Kanye was seen making a brief appearance at Kim's baby shower, which was filmed for her reality show, at the beginning of the month.

Claims rapper contacted her 'last weekend' asking to meet up
Kanye's spokesperson insists claims are 'without merit'

Seeing the funny side: Kim Kardashian was spotted giggling in Beverly Hills on Wednesday following claims Kanye West cheated on her with a Canadian model

A Canadian model is claiming that rapper Kanye West cheated on pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian after they met at one of his shows.
And by the looks of things, Kim is finding the mere suggestion that her baby daddy strayed hilarious.
Dressed in an olive-coloured maxi dress and cream blazer, the reality star was in fits of giggles when she was spotted being driven around Beverly Hills by best friend Jonathan Cheban on Wednesday.

Keeping her cool: Kim looked relaxed as she headed to lunch at Casa Vega in San Fernando Valley with best pal Jonathan Cheban

The heavily pregnant 32-year-old held a hand up to her mouth as she struggled to contain her laughter while chatting to her pal, before they headed for lunch at Casa Vega in San Fernando Valley.
There's a good chance the pair were discussing the stunning claims made by Leyla Ghobadi, 24, told America's Star magazine that their fling started in July 2012.
Leyla alleges the affair continued even after Kim had announced her pregnancy after Kanye dismissed his relationship with the reality star as just 'for publicity and nothing serious'.

'If I was Kim and about to have a baby, I'd want to know': Leyla Ghobadi has claimed Kanye cheated on Kim with her

Explaining her decision to reveal the relationship, brunette Leyla said: 'This is going to destroy the Kardashian family. It’s bad. It’s really bad. It’s just embarrassing. But if I were Kim and about to have a baby, I would want to know.'
Kim's representatives have denied the reports, while Kanye's added: 'This most recent attack on Kanye West and his family is totally without merit.
'It's a blatant attempt by a misguided individual who is clearly seeking publicity, and another in a series of malicious stories drummed up by non-credible "news" sources.' This is a sad attempt to hurt two people trying to live their lives.'

Biting back: Leyla set up a Twitter page on Wednesday and addressed her critics with a foul-mouthed rant

But Leyla has remained defiant and even set up a Twitter page on Wednesday to address her critics, or as she put it: 'To show you guys what I'm really like. Not just doing this for 'The Fame'.'
Leyla then began a Twitter rant. 'Maybe I went about this the wrong way but how else am I meant to get thru to her? I am NOT the bad guy in this situation. nothing more 2 say,' she wrote.
'The woman will always get the blame for everything huh.'

Miley Cyrus reveals her tiny waist in crop top as she claims she's 'so sad' Amanda Bynes' labeled her 'ugly'

By CASSIE CARPENTER and RACHEL LEVY

This is why she's hot: Miley showed off her tiny waist in a midriff-baring top as she arrived at the Jimmy Kimmel Live studio in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday

As former child stars who grew up in the Hollywood spotlight they have plenty in common.
And Miley Cyrus has revealed she was rooting for troubled starlet Amanda Bynes to get back on top - until she found herself the target of the actress' latest Twitter rant.
But after Bynes labelled the 20-year-old pop starlet 'ugly' in a tweet on the social networking site on Tuesday night, The Climb singer proved once again why she earned the title of number one on Maxim's Hot 100 list.

Growing up in the spotlight: Miley Cyrus called Amanda Bynes' Twitter attacks 'so sad' on Wednesday after being labeled 'ugly' by the troubled 27-year-old actress

Baring her toned tummy, the 20-year-old singer donned a red crop top as she arrived at the Jimmy Kimmel Live studio in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday.
She teamed the T-shirt - labeled 'Channing' insinuating that she may be a Tatum fan - with a pair of wide-cut, low-rise trousers that were a mix of sweatpants and denim.
Mixing punk and posh, Miley had her blonde hair styled up and sported chunky metal accessories, as she donned a pair of cat-eye sunglasses and red pointed-toe pumps.

Even though she seemed to have gained fashion inspiration from 90s skater boys, there was no missing the pop star's enviable figure.
Brushing off the Amanda Bynes drama, Cyrus appeared in good spirits, flashing her pearly whites as she waved to photographers.
Miley certainly isn't being drawn into a public feud.
'I won't even entertain that thought. I think it's all so sad and I don't want to add any fuel to that fire. It's so sad to me,' the Can't Be Tamed hitmaker told radio station Hot 95.5.

Hey y'all! Miley appeared in a chipper mood, smiling and waving to photographers

'I was rooting for her comeback until she started attacking me, and I just thought it was hilarious that she mentioned my name the moment I was the worldwide trending topic on Twitter.'

Ready to go: Rihanna stepped out in Manchester, England on Wednesday before her concert

As a child of the Eighties she no doubt donned overalls in her early years.
And Rihanna gave her childhood style a clever twist on Wednesday as she stepped out in dungarees.
The 25-year-old donned the denim all-in-one item as she went out to sight-see in Manchester, England.

Dressed down: The singer looked happy as she headed to the gig venue in dungarees

But she didn’t opt to go completely comfortable as she enjoyed the sights of the city.
The pop babe looked as fashionable as ever as she hit the streets in a pair of white heels and a white overcoat.
Her look also featured a cropped grey T-shirt which showed off her belly as she wore one strap from her blue clothing unfastened.

Relaxed look: She appeared to be wearing no make-up as she sported a scruffy ponytail

She waved at fans as she left her hotel earlier in the afternoon, and was optimistically prepared for a bit of sunshine as she carried a pair of sunglasses looped in the neckline of her top.
Her hair - which changes style often - was just over shoulder length and is currently an ombre mixture of blonde and brown.
She appeared to be wearing minimal make-up and held on to her mobile phone as she walked around.

So little time: But Rihanna was happy to greet onlookers as she departed form her accommodation

The star was performing her Diamonds Tour in northern region on Wednesday with a second date due for Thursday.
She posted on Twitter: '#Manchester I looooove yooouuu so phucking much!! Thank you for tonight, I can't get over it!!! See you again tomorrow!! #DiamondsWorldTour.'
She will then be heading to London for two nights of performances at Twickenham stadium in the capital.
