Home owner: Taylor Swift is said to have purchased a beachfront mansion in Rhode Island this week, pictured in Las Vegas, in early April

Taylor Swift has been seen in the last few weeks shopping for property in Rhode Island and it appears she has settled on a mansion officially listed at $20million.
But the pop singer is apparently a savvy negotiator and got the new home for much less than its asking price.
Taylor is said to have purchased the property in full for $17.75million with a single payment via wire transfer.

Mansion on the hill: The property looks over the rocky shores of the Atlantic

According to TMZ, the transaction took place earlier this week.
Real estate insiders told the gossip website that movers were seen as early as Saturday at the beachfront property, located in the upmarket seaside community of Watch Hill, Rhode Island.
But whether the mansion is a new home for the willowy blonde is questionable - the purchase may simply be a smart investment.

The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted with her mother Carole Middleton during a shopping trip in South Kensington, where they bought a large white wicker Moses basket for the imminent arrival of the royal baby

With less than three months to go before the birth of her first baby, the Duchess of Cambridge is clearly in the mood for a little nesting.
And who better to take on a shopping trip to furnish her future prince or princess’s new nursery at Kensington Palace than her mother, Carole Middleton.
The pair were spotted in upmarket South Kensington together, browsing some of the capital’s most exclusive baby stores after enjoying a spot of lunch together at the Zefi Mediterranean restaurant where they were seen by fellow diners sipping healthy fruit juices.

Kate wore a loose blue maternity top with a pretty lace collar for the outing

First on their list was Blue Almonds, which boasts that it creates ‘magical rooms for children’ - perfect for the third in line to the throne.
Dressed in identical dark blue skinny jeans and knee-high black boots, mother and daughter spent up to an hour browsing the Moses baskets on sale.
Priced up to £295 for an off the shelf model, they are certainly out of reach price-wise for many new mothers-to-be.

26-year old Denise Garrido from Bradford, Ontario, was crowned Miss Universe Canada 2013 during the 11th edition of the pageant held in Toronto on May 25th.

Standing 1.76 m in height, Denise holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and has a degree in Biomedical Sciences with Cum Laude distinction. Her parents are portuguese/brazilian.

Denise is not new to the ‘Grand Slam’ scene; in 2010 she represented Canada in the Miss World competition held in Sanya, China, where she placed as a semi-finalist.

The 1st runner-up was Riza Santos and the 2nd runner-up was Sierra Bearchell. Michelle McKay and Diana Martin.

What's wrong with flip flops? Tulisa was sporting a pair of skyscraper stilettos as she attended Ocean Club's Bank Holiday spray party in Marbella, Spain, on Sunday

When most people head off on a sun-soaked holiday, a simple pair of flip flops will suffice for hanging around the pool.
But that was certainly not the case when Tulisa Contostavlos was packing for her Marbella mini-break.
The 24-year-old singer evidently chose style over comfort when it came to her poolside wardrobe, and looked mildly ridiculous as she teetered around a giant pair of black skyscraper stilettos by Christian Louboutin while attending Ocean Club's notorious Bank Holiday spray party on Sunday.

With her feet squidged to the end of the giant heels, the former X Factor judge's footwear looked better suited to a night out on the town than a day at the pool.
While towering wedges are a common occurrence in the TOWIE haven that is Marbella, Tulisa still looked somewhat out of place in her humongous shoes.
The star teamed her fancy footwear with a tiny white bikini, which showed off her slim figure in all its glory.

Showing off her already impressing tan and multiple tattoos, Tulisa accessorised her unusual spray party ensemble with a giant diamond pendant by Chanel, bling-tastic earrings and a Chicago Bulls baseball cap.
Covering up her eyes in the Spanish sun with a pair of red shades, the star wore a full face of make-up and pillar-box red lipstick as she partied up a storm with her pals.

They are yet to make their red carpet debut as a couple, after Bradley Cooper attended London premiere of The Hangover III alone last week.
But that may be down to British model Suki Waterhouse's busy career, as she can now add budding actress to her resume.
The 20-year-old beauty was spotted on Monday filming the new movie Love, Rosie in Dublin, Ireland which stars actress Lily Collins.

The film is being adapted from the Cecelia Ahern novel of the same name which centres around the character Rosie Dunne, played by Lily.
While it is unclear how big Suki's part in the movie is, the model certainly seemed to steal the limelight from her co-star, wearing tight-fitting jeans and showing off her toned midriff.
Lily, the daughter of Phil Collins, had been earlier pictured filming romantic scenes from the film with her onscreen beau Sam Claflin.

Bradley and Suki were last seen together taking a romantic stroll through New York together earlier this month.

The couple were first spotted together leaving the ELLE Style Awards in London on February 12, and then again in Boston, Massachusetts on March 18.
